Updates Make It Less Useful

Our 15 year old Bosch needed replacing. This model is not a step up from our old model. Pros: quiet, cleans well.
Cons: cutlery drawer decreases space on top shelf, making wine glasses impossible to load, idiotic wine glass holders fold down, so can't load smaller glasses there before adding stemware, inefficient redesign for stacking dishes, worse drying of plastics.
If you have an older model, be aware of these changes that make life harder (???Gees, why Bosch, why??)
The 500 series that dries plastic may be a better choice if that's important to you. Otherwise, fewer dishes fit in making for more handwashing. Ugh....

Our New Bosch 300

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are extremely pleased with our new Bosch dishwasher that we’ve been using for nearly two months. The dishes come out clean as one would expect, even when they sit in the unit for a day. The dishwasher runs much quieter than our previous unit. We find the third rack on the top is at a convenient height for loading and unloading utensils. With the use of the recommended rinse solution, the dishes are dry when we unload the dishwasher in the morning even without a heating element. Some plastic storage containers may require a few extra minutes on the kitchen counter before they are completely dry, but that is no different than our previous unit.

Great machine!

I'm so glad we got the third rack. It makes a big difference in the number of dishes the machine holds.

Only a Bosch

Save your old insulation before the new one comes

FYI, this model no longer comes with insulation. it was built to be used with insulation, all the tabs to hold it in place are there, but I guess this is Bosch's way to shrinkflate to save on expenses. Too bad. Hope I dont regret this decision, its already the third Bosch in 16 years, had a 500 and a 300 that both leaked, but still the highest rated dishwashers, and they are quiet, quieter of course with extra insulation they ceased providing.
