Nice upgrade

First Bosch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher didn't clean the dishes and melted several plastic items. This is my first dishwasher that I've been in charge of purchasing. The Bosch is quiet--a huge plus with the open floor plan of my house--of notes you can still hear water but almost no machine noises. The dishes are CLEAN! And, with no heating element, nothing has melted. Finally the third rack is really helpful. I didn't realize how bending down to put in silverware was actually a burden. Also, it's much easier to wash spatulas and tongs since you just lie them flat in the third rack. Finally, the ability to adjust the height of the second rack is something I had no idea I was missing! Love this dishwasher.

MY DISHWASHER WHEN FINISHED A CYCLE IS VERY WET EVEN THOUGH I REQUESTED EXTRA DRY. IT STILL WET INSIDE AFTER A WEEK

Your dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. To improve drying results, we recommend turning on the Intensive Drying feature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ... which is less than I expected at this price point and from a brand with such a good reputation. 3rd silverware rack is slow to load and isn't very useful, and the machine seems to hold precious little overall. And it really can't dry to save its life (though it does do better with a drying aid -- but why should you need a drying aid with an expensive machine like Bosch?).
That said, it cleans pretty well, and it's whisper-quiet, which is nice....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Bosch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Bosch Dishwasher! Right away you can tell how solid it is built. It is extremely quiet! Naturally it cleans the dishes perfectly. The top rack for silverware is a great innovation! We are happy with our choice.
