Downgrade in quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the same model, purchased ten years ago. Sadly, Bosch made it unrepairable by obsoleting the mother board. The new model has been cheapened and is less convenient. Now, common functions like a Rinse cycle are controlled through an app on your phone - extremely inconvenient. The door springs are no longer adjustable, so the door smacks shut if it's not fully in the opened position. The silverware basket is half the size of the old one. Overall, this feels like a downgraded version of the old 800 Series Bosch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch Dishwasher survey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher cleans nicely, but the glass insert for wine glasses only holds 4 glasses side by side, not 6 which is how many notches are available. The notches are too close together so we are unable to use them all. This is a waste of space and not great for entertaining.

Satisfying appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our 20-year old, uber-reliable Miele dishwasher; but getting the same model today was going to cost more than 4K, so we looked elsewhere. We already use a Bosch dishwasher in our summer home and it's been a good appliace so based on that, we went for the higher end 800 series, with built-in panel. We've had it for one month now and it works great. Very silent, wide choice of functions and wash modes, a well designed set of trays that accomodate a lot of dishes (more than the Miele!), dishes come out clean (spotless glass wines, etc) so we are satisfied with this purchase. Hopefully it will last as long as our dear old Miss Miele...

Replacement after four years

Only reason I bought this was I could have it the next day. This is a very cheaply made machine

New Bosch 800 dishwasher

I needed to replace my 9 year old dishwasher the was not repairable with a new 800 series version.
Not happy with my new unit.
The soap cube has not been disolving totally and my more heavily soiled dishes do not get totally cleaned.
Not happy with the downgrade in options available within the machine even though I was told that this was the replacement model for what I had prior.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

800 Series Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet, and the crystal dry cycle is a welcome addition, as it dries even plastic containers. Also, the light indicates when the dishwasher is operating, which is helpful. However an additional stemware holder accessory would be welcome as well (why is there only a stemware holder accessory on one side of the middle shelf?), and the plastic holders, etc. seem thinner than they should be. We have had our dishwasher for less than a month and so far, no problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!
