Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Bosch dishwasher in the past 27 years. The first two were adequate and quiet. We had smallleaking problems with both of them, but last one may have been due to a crimped tube behind the dishwasher. (not sure if that was inadequate hose or installer issue) The second dishwasher was 17 years old, so needed to be replaced. I love this newest Bosch. Super quiet, cleans dishes VERY VERY well and fit exactly into the same slot and used the same cabinet panel from my old dishwasher. I would highly recommend.

Never Going Back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first had a Bosch dishwasher several years ago. I got it from a scratch and dent outlet, not knowing what a gem I had stumbled upon. I fell in love with how well it worked, the 3rd drawer for utensils and how quiet it runs. I then learned after using it for years that the heating element is not on the bottom of the dishwasher. So when I put plastic items on the bottom, they did not melt. I never realized why. We recently moved and I insisted we get this Bosch in our new home. I am a customer for life! This one works as well as my older one. The only complaint I have is that the bottom drawer rolls off track more easily than my old one when pulling it in and out. The benefits of this brand so outweigh that inconvience that I would still recommend this dishwasher.

Changing specifications/features?

We've had 4 Bosch dishwashers in the last 10 years, in various locations. Like the quality , performance and quiet.
Noticed that small tweaks to specifications and features make each one different. Most recent model ( we've had all 800 + series) does not accommodate wine glasses in tray as well as before The adjustment of top tray, middle rack and lower rack are different. Have not yet found optimal combination of settings. Would like more consistency in specification

Not as I expected

With all the hype I guess I was expecting more...
Pros - dishes, etc are nice and dry when finished
- its so quiet you have to actually listen to check to see if its on!
Cons - it's smaller on the inside than my old one
- I don't like the bottom rack set up with the direction going two separate ways
- I don't like the top rack for silverware - I thought I would love it, but I honestly don't. You need to place everything "just so" or the silverware moves around
I wish I loved it...and I just don't.

This dishwasher just doesn't have as many settings as I would prefer. For example, there used to be a very delicate setting to run crystal and China in my old Bosch that no longer exists. Further, the rinse dispenser, even on the lowest setting is just too much and you can taste it on water bottles and glassware. Silverware container is too small.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whisper quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bosch dishwasher exceeds our previous one from the same brand. After 10 years of no problems, we decided to get a new one. It is so quiet, you can't even tell it is running(the light projection to the floor will tell you it is though). It cleans great and even plastics come out dry which is a big plus since we prepare school lunches every day. Very happy with the purchase
