Quiet but doesn’t dry that well

A Real Pleasure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, after forty years I am ecstatic to have a dishwasher! I made the right choice with this 800 series, too. It cleans everything beautifully, and cleaning the spray arms and filter couldn't be any simpler. The movable tines afford different options for fitting dishes-a useful feature. And it is SO QUIET! It's a bit of a mess refilling the rinse aid, but a small funnel helps.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simply the best

Bosch is far and above other brands, I have never experienced a single issue with any unit I own. I currently have 3 of these in my home and love them. The indicator light is great, the power of cleaning is beyond any other I have used. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality product.

Not Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find this dishwasher control panel confusing and the unit difficult to load. The control panel has a "reset" button which I assume is the "cancel" button as well since the start button is labeled "start/resume". None of the buttons on the top are actually raised or emit a noise when touched so I'm not sure if the "button" is actually depressed. My old dishwasher had an electronic panel like this one but when you "touched the buttons" there was an audible tone. The Bosch videos are quite helpful especially since there is relatively no instruction manual on how to use the dishwasher. Unfortunately, I have recently had several occasions where the dishwasher turns on without even touching the control panel or selecting the start/resume button. I'm beginning to wonder if there is a problem beginning to brew with the unit. My dishwasher has the controls on the top with a custom door panel on the front so I'm absolutely sure I am not touching the control panel by accident which would cause it to turn on. This unit is extremely quiet which is a plus. In addition, I have the added advantage of a light that illuminates the floor during the cycle. This light is usually how I know that the dishwasher has turned on accidently.
I also find that dishes need to be in specific areas or they don't fit properly. I am still working on finding where and how to load my dishes properly. Watching the videos have understand the dishwasher better. This dishwasher cleans the dishes quite well. I have found that I need to select "crystal dry" which is an extended drying feature in order for it to dry the dishes to the level I prefer. Since this unit cleans the dishes well, is quiet, and dries the dishes well on the crystal dry feature I would say that it overall it is a good unit.

top shelf needs redesign

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The top shelf needs a redesign! Tall glasses fall over if not careful. There is a serious lack of angles spaces for mugs and such so I have to drain off water off the top and dry. That is not what I want to do. I am so disapopointed in the top shelf function. I do love how my custom panel fit on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So quiet but doesn’t dry well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the quietest dishwasher I've owned. The dishes are cleaned. My only complaint is that even w the crystal dry feature, my dishes aren't dry. Water collects on the rims of everything, the racks hold & drip water as pulled out & the dishwasher always is damp & humid whenever opened. It never completely dries out even if not used for days.for
