Thought it was bigger than the Alpha ... turned out ... the configuration is less well thought through ... tried to move my things over and it would not fit well. I am pretty annoyed by this.

Best large bag Tumi makes

My favorite bag for 2-3 night trips. There’s a never ending supply of pockets. The Tumi+ accessories fit well. Only issue is the front loops make accessories like the phone pouch sag and look sloppy. I typically don’t attach those to the outside for aesthetic reasons. This is a large bag, but will fit under most airplane seats. Window and middle seats are fine, but keep in mind aisle seats will be a squeeze, but it’s doable. Straps are some of the most comfortable straps TUMI produces. Bag is big but doesn’t feel large or heavy. Depth is good and doesn’t make you feel like your swinging something large around in small spaces like airplanes or trains. While the Expedition is so large it’s considered a carry-on, you can get away with this bag as a personal item on most domestic airlines. It’s a good bag for people who need to maximize their personal item space.

Perfect backpack. But I don't like the plastic part of it, if its material is replaced with a translucent fiber cloth, I will be more satisfied. I always have a sense of uneasiness about soft plastic products, worrying that they will become harder, brittle and yellow)

Exceptional. Amazing organization. Great weight distribution. The shoulder straps are perfect and the trolley sleeve slides on and off very easy. Very well designed backpack for work travel. Would buy again and will buy another one without hesitation.
