Great backpack!

I recently purchased this backpack as a gift to myself where I was seeking something more professionally minded, with an opportunity for personalization.
I tried briefcases and never found they could provide the functional benefits, ie too narrow, couldn’t fit my lunch, jacket, umbrella, books, tablet, etc., and the single strap made for uncomfortable weight distribution, especially when having to walk longer distances.
On the flip side, as a seasoned professional seeking to reinforce that image, I didn’t want to use an older backpack from my days in college.
Functionally, I wouldn’t change anything about this backpack.
In terms of areas for improvement—
I wish Tumi included a strap to go across the chest to assist with weight distribution.
The top pocket (where my initial name plate is…) is unstructured and when the tissue paper / filler is removed, it collapses and aesthetically, looks awkward.

Collapses to a fault...and too heavy

The construction of this backpack is somewhat disappointing. I don't like how it looks unstructured most of the time. It also collapses (to a fault) into itself from the top. It does hold my large water bottle which is a plus. But overall it is too heavy to use everyday. Darn, I wish I would have purchased a smaller/lighter Tumi instead. I wish it came with a strap to connect the two straps horizontally across my chest (or a Tumi option that I could purchase).

Best backpack I’ve ever purchased. Sleek and stylish. Great storage capacity. The zippers jingle a bit much, but they operate smoothly. Great bag!

Overall, a nice backpack, structured enough to be professional looking, but not old styling like the classic Alpha Bravo I have from 10 years ago. A few negatives, the front pocket with the ID tag tends to collapse on itself, and I wish there were more than two pen holders. Otherwise, it's well organized and well made.
A criticism of Tumi - why not list the country of manufacture? I can't even find it on the bag itself. Chatgpt tells me it's Indonesia or Thailand.

High Quality Backpack

High quality, professional looking, easy to organize, hidden secure pocket for your phone, Will last forever. Took it on its first journey for work from NYC to Saudi Arabia for 2 weeks; was superb.
