Had a previous version of this m: the Catalina? Maybe? I liked the previous one better & was hoping to buy it again, do t really need the shoe compartment - but love the depth of the bag, the space (can hold so much traveling or commuting everyday- lunch, water bottles, purse, laptop, all the things) which I love- this one feels nice but the shoe compartment is annoying - can we make one with shoe compartment and one without so we can have a deeper bag? Love the long straps! Love the luggage slide over handle zip, and love the lightweight and quality of the bag and hardware!

Finally - all the right features in one bag!

I agree with the reviewer that the laptop section could be a touch deeper sliding into the side of the bottom expando section (it fits my work laptop but not my personal Mac). However, I've been waiting for Tumi to figure out that something like a briefcase could have LONGER handles. Some of us live in climates that require winter coats, and those often have thicker shoulders and the briefcase handles won't fit over a shoulder! These do, and I'm so pleased with the versatility of this bag.

Versatile bag, classy and light. It contains a lot and fits right on my carry on suitcase. I purchased it for a trip to Europe and put what I need for my flight in it, while I leave the rest of my packing in the carry on. The bag fits under the seat in front of me if needed.

Fantastic Bag!

As a minimalist traveler, I needed to find a personal item bag to accompany my international sized carry-on for a three week trip to Africa. The "basement" compartment holds two pairs of shoes and my socks and underclothes. The numerous pockets of various sizes holds everything in an organized manor and it balances perfectly on my roller, so moving through security lines is a breeze. Even though the cost is a bit pricey, it's a purchase I am thrilled with and look forward to taking it all over the world!

No structure- not good for travel

Too flimsy and collapses on itself if there’s isn’t enough stuff inside to add structure. Uncomfortable to carry.

Perfect bag for airport travel

I love this bag for airport travel! It's the perfect size to fit a laptop, some cosmetics and such. It has longer arm straps as well as a shoulder strap you can adjust or remove.
I also love the suitcase handle sleeve on the back and pocket on the front. Perfect for putting your phone and ID to get through security.
The bag is sturdy and stays upright Vs a duffle I have. Very glad I purchased it.

Excellent and beautiful new addition to my TUMI collection

I purchased this tote for a recent trip to France. I loved its functionality and beauty. I ONLY travel overseas with TUMI & this piece was a perfect addition to my other pieces. It went beautifully with my international carry on that I also purchased for this trip. I’m passing my older pieces on to my partner who needs an upgrade to his luggage.
