Awesome squares …. Don’t use the stickies.

I love these things … only problem now is half of them have fallen off the wall and the connectors have broken and I can’t use them anymore. Is there anyway to get new connectors? Pieces to screw them into the walls at this point? I use these every day and now I’m upset because I can’t use them at all.

Difficult to install. The connectors are weak, a little too short and it is extremely difficult to snap them in place while up on a ladder and connecting to the previous panel that is already attached to the wall. The adhesive strips that are provided have two sides, one which is more sticky than the other. The weaker side must go on the hexagon light, the stronger on the wall. This is not explained. Functionally, the lights are wonderful, very pretty. But the install is very painful. The connectors should be easy, like a USB, but they are extremely difficult to snap together.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got these and the pads to stick to the wall aren’t sticky at all and the cords are very delicate and break very easily. Overall terrible product

Poor Electrical Safety

I bought the CYNC hexagon panel set as a gift for my son, who wanted a gaming environment in his room. These hexagon panels are considerably expensive so after doing thorough research, I thought I was making a smart choice by investing in these GE panels, given their reputation for quality. I even bought strip lights and lamps for a complete package.
I’m not just a DIY novice and followed instructions exactly on mounting these, but I decided against using screws since we weren’t sure if the lights would stay or if a TV would go in the same spot. I also figured the sticky-backs would suffice in supporting the panels otherwise, why would they have been included in the package and

But, to my disappointment, the sticky-backs failed, and the entire set of panels fell within a couple of hours, damaging three connectors as they twisted around a coat rack mounted below. The connectors secure tightly in the back of the panels, but the flimsy wiring between can easily tear.
It’s incredibly frustrating to invest time and money in a reputable brand only to end up with a subpar product. When you do your homework and avoid cheap options, only to be let down by a well-known company, it makes you question why you even bother. Now I’m stuck with broken connectors and a mess, wondering if I can find replacements or if I should just return the whole set.

Poor expansion. Don't buy if you want to expand!

I bought this as a starter kit with 7. They are fine. Or are they? I bought a 5 light expansion kit to add to it. Now I have a total of 12 hex tiles. The reason for 2 stars is the fact that exactly 5 have the the same hue of white, blue, red, green, ect. The other 7 have their own version of white, blue, red, green ect. They don't really match. It's obvious that 5 are the same and that 7 are the same. I should have 12 the same no matter the colour. If you want to expand, I recommend getting brand X. I am very disappointed that I have 2 whites, reds, ect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glad I took the leap to give these lights a try. As a streamer, I wanted something practical to light up my room, but also aesthetic as a nice background. These lights met both of my goals and the different color patterns and ability to combine with my smart home setup is absolutely wonderful!
