Disappointing durability

This controller stopped working correctly after 11 months. I used the controller maybe 4 hours a week which I don't think is very much. It worked well for about 8 months then started getting stuck drift . Month 11 the controller will not connect any more. I was hoping to return it for exchange but was disappointed to learn it only has a 90 day manufacturer warranty. I feel for the price the warranty should be 1 year .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst controller

If you want an honest review, Xbox's are great and really fun, although there are many downsides too! However, when it comes to the controllers, the build quality is terrible! The plastic shell breaks easily after one drop and stick drift is inevitable (although they're better than Nintendo switch joy cons). The worst aspect of the controller though is the battery life. Xbox controllers are powered by two AA batteries which last the controller a good 20 hours of playtime (not 40). If you're someone who spends a decent amount of time on games, these controllers die so quick it's better off buying Sony's PlayStation; because those controllers are rechargeable. Less hassle, rage and better for the environment.
