Wow I really love this bbq
I'm a snowbird and stay alot on blm land and this works great
The only problem is I get alot of other campers coming over to check it out lol and that leads to a beer then share the meat I'm cooking and then another beer
I make some great jerky or my road trips this is a must have for camping and home

Panel died after very light use.

After 5 light uses, nothing more than an hour or 2, the control panel died. Smoker is garage kept and out of the weather.

Over all good grill and glad I made the purchase. Only thing I came across that I wish it had was for the flam boiler handle bar to adjust if you wanted more flame or more smoke. Other than that great grill.

I bought this grill less than a year ago & have used it a handful of times & it has worked fantastic! I bought it based on the reviews & the fact the battery lasts up to 15 hours! Well sadly enough I am not even getting 3-7 hrs ☹️ I have only cooked brats & burgers on it! I just took it off the charger after it had been on for a few days & using it today 9-19-24 it’s already down on the battery after only 45 mins! ☹️
I would definitely recommend this little grill but you may need the electric back up to grill more than just a few burgers!

Been using it for about a month i grill with it every day at work. I do construction so most of the time theres no power so love having the battery that lasts the whole week. Complaints i have about the grill is that when its in the sun the grill stay almost 50 degrees hotter then set temp. around the fire pot paint is starting to flake off. The carrying handles are plastic and feel like there gonna break when carrying it.

Love hate relationship

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this little guy. The battery lasts plenty long enough and it maintains temps very well from what I can tell with external probes. The cooking surface is just large enough to cook for 2-4 people easily depending on size of food (ie huge steaks may only fit 2). So what's my issue with this thing? The hopper drives me absolutely insane. My big pit boss never has a problem feeding pellets. This thing, for whatever reason, constantly has to be stirred around or it stops feeding. If you don't catch it soon enough it'll result in the grill turning off in error and you run the risk of ruining food. I'm going to attempt to mod it to prevent this from happening as it has happened quite a few times. Hopefully I can figure something out.

This battery powered smoker would be ideal for my motorhome if it only had wifi. I would give it 5 stars with that addition.

Nubee with a smoker

I’ve never owned a smoker nor been close to anyone that does. My son in law got one last month and I had a chance to use his. Wow, what a difference this is using the PitBoss to prepare a good piece of meat. 🥩 almost to easy! The results were fantastic! It made a nubee like me cook like a pro! Well maybe, just someone that knew what he was doing around a smoker. Of course I had to get one for myself. I now have a PB1600. Can’t wait to get it up and running.
