I bought this several months ago. Had to return first one as it was defective. The scanning software is not at all user friendly. You need to go thru many step to setup and figure out where to save the scan. It's a great printer but a disaster as a scanner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rec'd complimentary from influenster for my honest review. Working from home my office doesnt supply a printer. I had a very old pixma printer (15 years old) that was amazing for all these years. The ink cartridges were pricy for the old model so i used it sparingly. Along comes this big mamma jamma mega tank printer! The tanks are HUGE! I can wirelessly hook my phone up to it to print emails from teachers, work, statements etc. Having that option is amazing since i dont always want to send personal emails to my work computer or drag out my laptop, i use my phone for everything. Its a great handy printer and does everything you could want. Very user friendly and not complicated at all. I totlaly recommend purchasing.

This printer is hands down the best printer i have used so far. This printer has scan,fax as well as color print and regualr print option and so much more. Its all in one equipment that does so many jobs in one equipment. It saves a sapce and money. Absolutelylove this printer and will definitely reccomand it.
