Very happy with the two Trio Max! I received them a week ago, and tried them on both MacBook Pro and ThinkPad. The instructions for drivers download and installation is straightforward, and it is flawless to set up on Mac (13"). However, I was struggling with ThinkPad (14" old generation X1 Carbon), it did not recognize the second Trio Max as expected. The screen was flashing constantly until I connect them both on a USB hub and it works like a charm. I believe most customers have issues with the adhesives on the magnets, and needless to go into the details here. Velcro comes to my rescue! For some reasons, there are NO FILMS on both of my Trio Max screens, just the green tab itself. For this reason, I give a four stars. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase!

This screen is phenomenal, but one issue

So this was a gifted item to me for my birthday 3 months ago. I have used it on both my laptop (with the magnetic plates) and my desktop (with a stand from a another item I ordered recently). Overall, this has greatly increase my productivity as far as work and school goes.
However, the only downside is that at any brightness level higher than 35% causes this monitor to disconnect and reconnect randomly. I have the brightness below 30% and the issue never occurs. It's definitely not a driver error, nor is it a USB port error as it occurs in any USB port I use. I've tweaked settings to ensure my PCs are NOT turning off the USB ports to conserve power, but the issue still happens anyway.
I'm fine with keeping the brightness a little low so it isn't a big issue but it's something worth bringing attention to, especially for you bright screen users. Other than that, this item is FANTASTIC

I would give this product 5 Stars if it wasn't for the magnets. The screen slips down when it's extended outward. I bought extra magnets but it still slips down and the edge touches the table. Truth is that its fine if it does that or slip a book under it but a simple lip on the back of the magnets would prevent that so not sure why no one thought of it. Eventually, I added a tiny piece of velcro and its perfect now.

magnets are too weak

Good monitor. I really hoped the concept could have worked out. The whole reason I bought it was to horizontally extend my MacBook screen. But the magnets are way too weak and the monitor keeps falling off. I bought the 14'1 size. Not sure if the smaller size could have stayed put.

Could be better, but still love it

The installation is easy, the idea is brilliant. The screen quality is not the best though. As you see on the picture, it is darker than the laptop's screen. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Still love this light and portable extra screen.

I purchased this monitor to attach to a 15 inch light weight laptop. The weight of the monitor was too heavy for the magnets that are included to use for attaching the screen to my laptop. It would tip the laptop to the side where it was installed. The plastic housing for the screen is very cheaply made and the screen does not slide easily from it. As a matter of fact, trying to pull the screen out disconnects the whole unit from the "weak" magnets. I really wanted to keep this monitor so I would extend the screen first the attach it to the laptop magnets, but the weight would pull against the magnets. I wanted to use it as a travel monitor, but it would require too much work and the fact it would pull away from the laptop made it of no use for me. Maybe the smaller screen is easier to use because it is a lighter weight. I hate to return items, but this one has to go back.
