Can't install on a mac book

2 days sunk into this so far - its ruining my daughters birthday (present). Driver install issues / instructions don't match software... got it working for a little while then computer went to sleep then and woke up seeing 2 additional monitors that can no longer be configured! This is junk! Don't buy it for MAC!!!

Unusable, magnets aren't strong enough

Couldn't even reach the point of turning on the monitor because the magnets aren't strong enough to hold itself to any laptop and the stand doesn't let it stand on its own. It's a piece of junk, don't buy it

Tech to make projects easier

I only recently became aware that companies made second screens for laptops, so I broke down and got one because I have a few things that it would be handy to use.
I am still getting used to it but I can give one tip to start. The screen is very bright when you are installing it. On the front, next to where the plug is, there are touch buttons to adjust the brightness.
The install instructions and the QR code that I received with this item were not accurate. The QR code is no longer valid. If using windows operating system, just plug in the monitor, it will start up right away. The sticky magnetic pads are easy to install but the added monitor is heavy enough that you must use it with a table or flat surface so that the weight can rest on it. The frame of the monitor is larger than my laptop so for me, that is a little irksome, next time I would purchase a smaller 2nd monitor if it fit my needs.
I have noticed that the coloring it slightly different from the laptop and the focus is a little bit off comparatively. Overall, however, I do like the monitor and has made my project much easier to manage rather that flipping back and forth or scrolling through long pages/documents.

Great alternative to your bulky monitor

A great buy I would say. I never had experience using similar compact screen before and was a little hesitant to buy this. However as I am continuously using this fron last 2 weeks, it is such a nice gadget to have if you have space constraint in your home office or you want another screen compact and attached to your laptop, this is just perfect. I am using this both attached to my laptop and keeping separate and both works. Just one thing to improve for the manufacturer is that, they could provide an additional pedal stand in case anyone wants to use this as a typical monitor PC. Otherwise, HD quality picture and resolution, light weight and very handy. Certainly recommend.

Easy Setup and Travel Friendly

Monitor attaches easily via magnets (and 3M stickers) to the top of your laptop. I love that it can swivel to the desired angle and also to the back if you are presenting! It's perfect for me who is used to using multiple monitors but sometimes travel. All you need to do is plug it into usb or usb-C and its auto setup!

Such bad build quality I didn't even try to see it's picture quality

Terrible design and build quality. One of the magnets would not even work so the entire back screen just slides/falls of the back of my MacBook pro. When I try to pull out the screen the entire backside just slides off my laptop 2/3rds of the time which means you have to use two hands to pull it out. Makes the whole workflow less elegant. I'm imagining being outside and something bumps the table and the whole screen falls off and crashes to the ground. A latch system would have made more sense.

Cool concept but bad execution

Like many other reviewers previously stated, the magnets just aren't strong enough to hold the screen in place. I tried using it for a couple of hours and could not get the enclosure to stay in place (even on a level surface) when sliding the portable screen in and out. I really don't see how this would work in your lap or on an uneven surface if I couldn't even get it to work on a desk.
The image quality on the monitor itself is passable but nothing to write home about whereas the portability is the key selling feature for which you are paying a premium. It doesn't seem to work as intended and you are better off purchasing cheaper alternatives with better image quality. I will definitely be returning it and will be try the Sidetrak Swivel to see if it works any better but not keeping my hopes up.
