Extended display

things to know about the product that I didn’t know;
1.Purchased the trio max 14 inch display, when I purchased it I thought two came with the purchase but that was inaccurate. it’s one 14 inch, so keep that in mind.
2. The monitor secures to the back of your laptop by magnets, except it won’t stay, they slide off the laptop, I purchased a leather cover to attach to my laptop and then attach the display to the laptop and that fix the problem.
3. My laptop is a 16.5 inch laptop and the 14 inch screen are to heavy for it, at the very end of the display they tilt down because of the weight.
With all that said ,I like the monitors! They are a great accessory to have, they work great and I can take them with me on the go. I use them for work, it allows me to have excel open in one display , company information on the other and all other applications on the third. So much better then having so go back and forth between apps because of only having one monitor.

YOU HAVE TO STICK MAGNETS ON THE LID OF YOUR PC.

Poor applicable design. Concept is great. Screen is great. Putting it on your PC lid via stuck on magnets i not great.

Works, but won't stay on.

Though it works fine, it absolutely will not stay on my laptop. A friend has the same one but it has larger magnets. It's also difficult to find more magnets to fit. Probably need 8 magnets, just to keep it from falling off.

Magnets are too small

Magnets are small on the back … makes screen too heavy which forces the laptop to open too far

The magnet system is just not strong enough to hold the screen on with it extended. They say this in the literature if you read that it should be slid down to rest on the desk, however not everyone's laptop hinges at the bottom. I added some rubber gasket next to the magnets and that helped tremendously to add friction and prevent the screen from sliding. Simply adding some rubber bumpers or foam tape around the magnets makes this much more useable.

Mounting need to be refine

The four magnets that hold the monitor in place on your laptop are not strong enough. If you're not sliding the monitor out it is fine. As soon as you slide the monitor out from its pocket, the magnets cannot hold the monitor in place anymore. It is sad because I like it a lot.

Great for on the go Multi Tasking!

Took a lot of convincing but it sure was worth it! This allows me to bring my triple monitor at home setup virtually anywhere when I go on various hunting trips, allowing me to work from wherever I have internet!
It makes it feel like I'm right at home, screens are nice big, and bright and gives you 2 extra screens to put things on, whether it's youtube on one side and a document on the other or however you want.
I recommend this to anyone who travels a lot and needs to bring work with them and likes multi-tasking with multiple screens.
