Cool concept

Very cool concept. Bought 2 of these. Picture quality is great, colors are bright. One point to note is that your laptop has to be kept flat against your desk surface and you cannot have it in a raised position when using these screens.

High Quality HD Portable Monitor

I purchased the 14.1" monitor and have been working with this monitor attached to my 16" MacBook Pro for the last week and it works great so far. I've always wanted to have a portable monitor so I can be more productive. The setup was simple with the installation of the magnets and attachment to the laptop. Others have noted some issues with setup, but that wasn't my experience. Once attached, I just plugged the USB-C into my MacBook and started using the monitor. I've also tried the monitor sitting on my desk in portrait mode but I find that the landscape orientation is more conducive to my needs. I like that the monitor automatically detects and adjusts to the orientation. The images and text are very sharp (although less sharp than the MacBook's Retina display) and I don't feel like I'm compromising when looking at photos. Lastly, the monitor's controls are intuitive and allow you to adjust backlight, contrast, saturation, and temperature. I'm just now trying the Eye Care Mode to see if it helps.

Easy to install and works great

I needed a second monitor for my work laptop so I bought this to try it out. It only took maybe 5 minutes to attach. Super simple and easy. Works perfectly and slides right back in when I don't need it.

So far there is nothing I dislike! Very easy to install and set up. Great picture quality. I love that it came with 12 metal plates so you can connect it to more than one laptop, so I can use it on my personal laptop and my work laptop. I though I was going to have to "make" my own! So happy!

Works great for my wife

This is great for my wife so that she can work away from her desk sometimes without sacrificing the dual monitor. The only issue she had was that the magnets wouldn't hold the weight well enough so the monitor would slide a bit. This was fixed easily with some heavy duty velcro and now she is 100 percent pleased.

I'm pleased with the products. Get two instead of one. You will be more efficient that way. It's flimsy somewhat, so be gentle, pulling them out and putting them back in.

Almost impeccable product! Excellent services!

Very happy with the two Trio Max! I received them a week ago, and tried them on both MacBook Pro and ThinkPad. The instructions for drivers download and installation is straightforward, and it is flawless to set up on Mac (13"). However, I was struggling with ThinkPad (14" old generation X1 Carbon), it did not recognize the second Trio Max as expected. The screen was flashing constantly until I connect them both on a USB hub and it works like a charm.
I believe most customers have issues with the adhesives on the magnets, and needless to go into the details here. Velcro comes to my rescue! For some reasons, there are NO FILMS on both of my Trio Max screens, just the green tab itself. For this reason, I give a four stars.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase!
