Quality screen, Works awesome with my laptop.

I had been sitting on buying one of these screens for some time. I use 2 screens on my desktop constantly but never had a good setup for my laptop. I was a little worried about the tech and if it would actually work but I can say now it works great. Its a freeing feeling to know I have the second screen for when I am working from a coffee shop or that I can use to for a client presentation. The product works great. Easy to setup and the screen looks great.
Really nice color and screen quality! Feels surprisingly sturdy. I have not attached it to my laptop as I am not yet sure that I want the magnets stuck in permanently. With my windows laptop it has been very easy "plug and play". One thing I don't remember seeing in the description was the gyroscope, so that if you flip it over (only between the two landscape views) it will flip automatically. Nice little addition. You can see in the one photo I'm holding it up approximately where it would be attached, and it does provide a very nice dual screen. Perfect for working from home.
Very interesting design and concept. It is a a two part setup that attached to your laptop with magnets. And then it will slide out and be the second monitor as shown. Worked right out tic the box and no need to download any drivers or software for my HP. It is connected through USB C and no driver is needed but there is a USB adapter to the cord and that will require a driver down load. The screen slides out nicely and then it pivots as well to help add visual adjustments based on the laptop set up.
Is a great addition to have for working remote and having a small simple second screen to become more productive and navigate faster.
A friend told me about this monitor and I knew I had to get it. Luckily for me, it was the lightning deal and I don’t think I’ve ever press so fast other than when I got a PS5 for my daughter. The portability of this monitor is what sold me. I like that it can be attached to your laptop and they provide 3 sets of magnets for attachment of up to 3 laptops. Unfortunately, I have a XPS3 so the screen hangs over all sides of my laptop. Therefore, I won’t be attaching it directly to my laptop but placing it as a notebook for travels. I can now be very productive around the house. I can lay on the floor and get work done and don’t necessarily need to be at my desk. I use this without my laptop being connected to power and I haven’t seen my laptop battery drain faster than normal. My new favorite place is to sit on the floor while my toddler plays around me and get work done.
The screen isn’t as bright as my laptop but it still doesn’t take away from its functionality. It’s not as pixelated but the picture quality isn’t diminished. The screen itself seems durable and the housing of the monitor seems to provide good protection for the monitor so it will not crack. The monitor can be used in landscape or portrait mode to mirror or extend. It was plug & play. I simply plugged it in and Windows installed the drivers needed to get it to work. I was up & running in less than 30 seconds. Unplugging & plugging it in is no problem as it connects within seconds. However, placing the monitor in portrait mode is always a slight challenge as I don’t want to break the hinge and you have to push both sides out completely before rotating. One side always seems to cooperate perfectly while the other needs a little finessing.
This little monitor has increased my productivity while working at home because when I need to step away from my desk, I now still have dual monitor and no longer need to work off my laptop screen.
I love this, I have been missing my dual monitors at the office since working from home. And I feel so much more productive and "back to normal" in a way now that I have this attached to my laptop. I just wish I had heard about this sooner.
Magnets not powerful enough to stay on laptop for trio Max

Quite simply just won't stay on the laptop. Period. The adhesive of the magnets stays on fine but it just falls off even when on a table. Absolutely no chance you could use the device as a laptop without it falling off. Going to buy more powerful magnets to see if they help. You would think they would have tested the Trio MAX to fix this issue before hand. Otherwise the screen quality is mediocre but would have been acceptable.
