Weak mounting system

The magnets that came with it to mount the portable monitor are not strong enough to support the weight. The monitor sags, which is frustrating. I didn’t feel great about the double sided adhesive on the back of my expensive laptop. I will likely buy the kickstand.

Super Easy Laptop Addition

Expansion Screen is a great addition to a laptop. The ability to have two screens is a game changer. As a heavy user of laptops and travel for business having this addition is impressive. The portability and ease of connecting to another device is equally impressive and easy to do. A great addition to anyones laptop for personal or business use.

Strange lighting irregularity in the screen's backlight

The screen works decently. However, it has a strange yellow backlight. I haven't figure out a way to make it go away. I reached out to the seller but haven't heard back. Also, as some have warned, the screen does seem to hang off the side at a tilt, even though the part that's attached to the back of my screen is level with the desk. I have to use a small smartphone tripod to hold it up. If you decide to purchase the Trio Max, just be warned.

Perfect tool to make working remotely more efficient!

I've had this product for about 2 weeks now and it's making working remotely so much better! Having the dual monitor really helps to increase productivity by not having to flip back and forth on my one-screened laptop. When I first ordered the screen, I was concerned it would be too big for my laptop but it fits perfectly. Below are what I see as the pros and cons of the screen.
Pros: Easy to plug and play with USB-C on Windows computer, you can use it on either the left or right side of your laptop, you can use it in "presenter mode", you can use it in portrait or horizontal mode, good brightness, seems durable.
Cons: Screen is a little heavy and can only move it so much when attached, not a huge fan of the color settings, there's not a stand for horizontal mode - only portrait.
Overall, I would recommend this monitor to people looking to boost productivity with a laptop!

Super Additional Monitor

I don't have an office so I turn different areas of my house into an office and this monitor has worked great! It comes with enough metal tabs to do three computers and when I bounce from doing work on one computer to playing games on another it's so easy! I will say that the cable isn't the best (I can jiggle it and sometimes the monitor will turn off), hence the 4 stars. I did buy the 14" for my 12" laptop and while it's heavy I have my laptop setup on a surface 99% of the time so no issues. If you were going to use it for working while traveling maybe get the smaller one, but for how I am using it it's great!
