Gamechanger!

I wasn't sure if this would be a good idea for a laptop. I have a desktop monitor that i use for a second screen but I wouldn't be able to take that out with me while I meet clients. This thing does it all and the same quality screen as my desktop monitor. I love the fact i can flip this screen around and my clients can see my main screen at the same time as me without having to look over my shoulder. This is a game changer!

Made my life easy

I had two big monitors to work from home or in my office but with this compact screen, it's easy for me to carry my additional monitors anywhere. Easy to add or remove as needed. Came in a nice sturdy box with instructions and was easy to install. It would have been better it can be made lighter but no complaints.

These things are great! Wife works from home with a 3-screen monitor setup for her PC. We bought a couple of these to keep at our Daughter's house so that she can still work to the same capacity from her Chromebook when visiting our Granddaughter! Very easy to setup and use.

Quality second screen that easily works with your laptop

This second screen easily fits to the back of my laptop to work as a second laptop screen that I can take anywhere. This is the second additional laptop computer screen that I have bought and the visual quality of this screen is far superior - as good as my laptop! I absolutely recommend this screen if you want a light weight, high quality, portable second screen for your laptop that you can take anywhere.

I needed an additional work screen for my laptop, where it hides away, and has a higher end picture with the larger screen. I found this one, really good specs and decided to give it a try. I was not dissappointed, this one worked out great. First off, out of the box, the whole piece is really nice quality. It comes with the magnetic stickies that actually grip really well, and always keeps the monitor attached to the screen really well. On the flip side, since its magnetic it pops off easily when not in use. It has a great picture, very clear and really nice brightness too, where its practically better than the one on my laptop. I really like how it just slides away when not in use. My windows 10 system picked up the monitor right off, and was up in going in just seconds. When attached, flipping this one over, looks like it belongs to the laptop where its amazing how thin this one is. Really hard to show how nice this one is with just pics, so I did a video to show. No cons, really worked out great for me, where I am very happy with the purchase.

Great for multitasking!

This screen is a life saver! Before this screen, I used multiple monitors at home and at work. When I did not use a monitor it made me less efficient. I love that I can take this screen everywhere and be just as efficient as if I am at home or work! The only downside is that it is added weight carrying it, but so worth it. I like how close the monitor is to my main screen. I eliminates the time that it take me to accommodate myself with other monitors I have and just get right to work. I would recommend this screen to everyone. I also used it for school and it was a breeze writing while researching.

Didn't work, security concerns, and more...

I'm very technically inclined, have written software, and worked in the tech world for over 25 years. I spent the morning working on this and couldn't get it to work on my Macbook. I might have kept after it and eventually got it working but gave up on it for two reasons:
1). For the mac, you have to grant it special permissions to do screen recording regardless of whether the app is running or not. You read that right. That means you are granting a non-US, third party company to record your screen activity and it is all dictated by the privacy terms and conditions they stipulate and you have to jump through hoops with the mac system preferences to bypass the built-in OS security before the screen could work. Think about that. Why would you ever grant something like that? You don't have to grant those kinds of permissions to hook up to an external monitor so why would you allow this?
2). It is held on by magnets that aren't powerful enough to support the weight of the monitor itself. They include a stand to support the underneath side it but that requires you to have your laptop on a hard flat surface in order to make it work.
Others seem to like the device but for me it is a hard pass.

I purchased this portable monitor after I saw a teacher-friend use it during distance learning. It is seriously so helpful in managing virtual teaching and all the different things you have to do at once. I also find it useful when reviewing student data because it saves me so much time. The portable monitor is lightweight and easy to use. I totally recommend this product!
