This is the perfect-sized grill for the two of us and our small outdoor space. It seems to be well-made and is sleek and attractive. The coated grill grates are easy to clean. We have not tried the smoking feature yet, but the steamer tray makes it easy to cook an entire meal at the same time on the grill. Determining how long to grill meat has been a significant challenge for me. We like our red meat very rare. On a traditional grill, the initial test has been a sight test. The greatest disadvantage of this grill is that if you open the lid for even 10 seconds, the temperature drops by at least 200 degrees and takes a long time to heat back up. This makes it difficult to cook red meat to the preferred doneness. Also, I'd like a guide to tell me how long to cook specific meats, veggies, etc. So far I haven't found that.

Having used a gas grill for over 40 years, I was very, very pleased to see how great the results were using Webber's Lumin Electric Grill. While the time it takes to cook might be slightly longer than using gas, I have found that the food looks and tastes exactly the same. Could not be more happy with the results

Overall I really like this grill. It is very easy to clean, as drippings don't stick well to the stainless inards of the grill. However, the temps are awfully hot. I followed the directions (sort of) for my first grilling test. The meat was really, really well done. So I have been putting on the meat well the temp reads at about 150, and cooking it about half as long as on a propane grill. If anyone has any suggestions on how to turn down the heat ...

What a Grill!

I have had my Lumin for sometime now and every time I cook on it I am more impressed. I have grilled almost everything putting the Lumin to the test. I have reversed seared steaks, smoked burgers and ribs. To a making delicious beer brats with great char marks all on the Lumin. I have made bacon and and all different types of veggies for sides and have never had an issue. I barely get any flare ups even with minimal cleaning (1 time a month). What stands out the most are the grill marks I am able to get every time making presentation great for guest. I’m excited to see where Weber takes their knowledge of Electric grills next!

So far I'm enjoying my new electric grill. Local county regulations don't allow gas or charcoal grills near condos. The weather has turned cold and wet, so I have only grilled or smoked a few meals. The Lumin does reach a high temperature that gives a excellent sear on steaks and burgers as advertised. Texas smoked sausages, smoked chicken wings, and smoked pork chops were very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE my Weber Lumin Tabletop Grill! Poor planning and a bad memory left me grilling my shrimp from frozen and I was blown away! The steam allowed it to thaw perfectly and the high heat left the most beautiful sear marks. The ability to keep food warm is a bonus and a dream. Having a front access tray made cleanup an absolute breeze.
