Living in an apartment where no open flame is allowed made me switch from my Weber charcoal grill of 32 years sadly. But this alternative works well. The only thing I would like Weber to change is to have the shield under the heating element easier to access for cleaning. My initial use required me to unscrew the heating element to take out the shield to clean. I have since learned to line it with tin foil for ease of cleaning. Other than that, the controls are easy and the thermometer really helps. Also, I have always trusted Weber’s instructions and followed them to the letter for cooking times. Thanks.

So easy and the perfect size for me and my husband to use. We have a Weber charcoal grill that we use when we have people over but it’s cumbersome to use for just the two of us. This compact electric grill is great. During the heat of the summer I don’t want to use any appliances inside so I plan meals that can be cooked on the Lumin outside. We haven’t tried to add wood chips yet for the smoker option but I’m sure we will before summer is over.

This grill heats up to 600 degrees in 15 min. It cooks meat faster than my propane Q120. Very well put together and sturdy. The packaging was also great. Its packed like weber is shipping out expensive artwork. Well worth the money.

Perfect size for cooking for two. We use our year round and almost every dinner. The electric model is the easiest to rely on. Constant results using the Weber cooking guides. (I use the “Q” cook time simple guide). (Minor issue: a blue indicator light on the electric grill is difficult to see in daylight, but you’ll know anyway, that it is heating.) This replaced our 9 year old Weber Q.
