I purchased the product a few weeks ago and was delivered a couple of days later.
It is much quicker and quieter than my previous Pavilion laptop.
So far I have been delighted with the product with the one exception. This is the very faint grey characters on the keyboard keys !!!

I've owned a Pavilion for around a month. Although I knew they were unlit, the lack of background lighting for the keyboard is a disappointing loss on an otherwise well specified laptop. However, the greatest disappointment is the short time before it needs recharging: despite the battery showing no errors, using all the power saving facilities, and using the laptop only for web surfing and word processing, the battery life markedly reduces its use. Had the advertised life between charges not been so misleading, I would have selected another model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this product as I saw it being advertised at a good discounted price and am quite happy with it. Only fly in the ointment is the lack of backlighting of the keyboard which makes it less user friendly in low light conditions but other than that I am delighted with the functionality.

I have had this laptop now for two months and generally speaking I am quite pleased with it. My biggest criticism is the battery life. I only use the laptop for 2-3 hors/day and no matter how I set the power use, I find myself charging the battery on a daily basis.
