I purchased the laptop a month ago and I am quite happy with it so far.
Things I like:
- Powerful CPU and GPU, with possibility to undervolt CPU or increase power consumtion for performance.
- Fans are silent enough, not louder than other models with similar components and only performance mode gets noisier. I have not yet tried during summer time but I was surprised by how silent it is when playing games on balance mode.
- Fan curve can be manually changed to silent for low temperatures (not for Eco mode)
- Easy to upgrade, I've added a second SSD and I have upgraded RAM quite easily. Support is helpful and easy to contact if needed.
- Screen is actually really good, but it needs some settings adjustments on Intel Graphic Command center to get the best out of it (contrast and brightness).
- It support Power Delivery 3.0 (max 100W) via the Thunderbolt USB-C port (it will run in eco mode). It's great for portability considering that the provided charger is quite big.
- Perfect dimentions for a 17'' models with those components. Mini display port and SD card reader are a great addition.
- When first received, Windows is with BitLocker encryption. Not sure if it will staywhen reinstalling but I think it's great.

- The P* side buttons are quite pointless and they get in the way. You can't really use them much because macro settings give you little possibilities. For example you can't assign it to open a software or change Gaming Hub profiles. You can't either set the buttons to be pressed and released when button actually released because it needs a sequence with defined delays.
- In order to change Gaming hub profiles you have to open the gaming hub app every time and manually select the profile you want to switch (no shortcut or notification icon on menu bar for quick access).
- Gaming hub and RGB keyboard color settings are not the easiest to use when wanting to set the keys to be less bright.

Works very well indeed. The case does not seem as strong or as stylish as the previous Omen laptop, that I bought 3 years ago, but time will tell. Good screen display and the performance is as good as my Omen desktop (I chose the 17" screen and the 4070 graphics).

I bought this at the end of February on pre order (arrived beginning of April if I remember correctly). Great price for a laptop with a 4090 and 2TB storage is amazing. Not sure if the RAM can be upgraded but happy with 32GB for now. Price has gone up since I bought it, I would say wait for a sale but I recommend this laptop regardless. It is a beauty. Also has the new OMEN logo which is cleaner than the old one (a diamond compared to the old tribal mask thing). Per key RGB is also really nice.

Been using for a month and so far performance has been outstanding, thought the CPU could be an i9 13900hx. but the 13700hx is impressive enough with rtx 4080, running gaming in 1440p is an absolutely pleasant experience, also can undervolt the cpu to lower the temp. One problem is that when tilting the bottom of laptop by a laptop stand, could impact the performance of gpu, so have to place the laptop in flat surface. but overall not much to complain. powerful gaming machine.
