A Few Compromises, Harsh LED lighting, but Overall Excellent

CONS: The LED stovetop light is weak and harsh. I had to buy add-on battery-powered LED magnetic WARM WHITE light strips to produce enough light. The LED time display on the panel is incredibly bright, and I had to buy amber tinted film to cover it up - the clock display is blinding, and even with amber film over it, it's still pretty bright. These are compromises for buying a budget microwave, but even higher priced models still use the harsh LED lights. HEY FRIGIDAIRE - 2700K LEDs PLEASE. And, also, the LED stovetop light is a circuit board, not an easily replaceable bulb. So if it ever goes out, you have to order a replacement from Frigidaire.
PROS: Now - what I like. Compared to our last microwave, the lettering on the control panel is nice and big and the numbers are easy to see in dim light. We had to glue a plastic gem to the "2" on our last microwave (reheating coffee takes 2 minutes) because the panel was completely unreadable in dim light. EXCEPT: the time display on this panel is sooo bright, that it makes it more difficult to see the numbers below (see above about adding amber-colored vinyl film). The door is quieter when you close it, and the microwave is very quiet when it runs.
NEUTRAL: There are 3 one-touch buttons, for 1-minute, 2-minute, and 3-minute times. Our last microwave had 6 (for 1 to 6 minutes). This one-touch feature is not available on every microwave, and it was a must-have for me, so this made this Frigidaire microwave the winner.

Nice for the price especially

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect refrigerator for my small kitchen! Although it is counter depth and 30 inch width, it is very roomy inside. I have only had it one months but it has run quietly, maintained even temperatures and id well lit. I am glad I found this model!

Simple and Quiet
