I like the microwave, but be careful doing the install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were replacing a microwave that didn’t even last 2 years, so I am aware that microwaves now aren’t what they used to be. So far, we like the microwave, we found the beeps loud even on low do we turned them off. It works as it should. I gave 4 stars only because we didn’t find the template for the install quite accurate, so we had to take the microwave down to redrill the holes. Then during the install the insert that accepts the upper bolt though the cabinet and into the microwave insert fell in! It is barely clipped in the edge if the square cut out and if your bolt hits that barely on there edge, it will fall into the microwave. Thus rendering it not installable. The whole case would have to be taken off. I knew from reviews that returning it would be impossible, so we found a very small toggle bolt to push into the now hollow opening at the top of the microwave. This worked, but to find a small enough one to fit, we then had to use a washer to hold it at the opening in the cabinet. This worked and the install is secure. But highly irritating that a new item has an insert that is necessary for the install barely held in place. The engineering could use some beefing up. My last microwave had that insert screwed on. That is a much better idea.

Great microwave/Great Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good When my Ge microwave kept blowing the breaker I had to get a new one in a pinch. Being Christmas time, funds are tight. This was the right choice. For the money and the looks. Was a no brainer!

New microwave easy to install and works perfect out of the box

New addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 7 years, had to finally replace the Frigidaire model that came with our new home. Had replaced several door switches but still experienced issues with the unit tripping the breaker. Wanted a same brand replacement and found this model during Black Friday sales. Easy installation, as it aligned perfectly with the previous install. Matches the appearance of our other appliances and offers additional features. Door operates 100% smoother and unit seems to be quieter. Only negative is brightness of the panel display. Able to turn it off, but would be great if we could dim the brightness. Otherwise, LOVE IT! Wife is beyond excited.

Marvelous Microwave

The surface light is brighter and placed better. The clock numbers are brighter, and the inside light is brighter. We have not yet used all of the features, but it is doing great so far.
