Frigidaire Microwave Broke After Just 13 Months

After just 13 months our Frigidaire LFMV1846VFA microwave died. It displayed an E-11 error code and does not work anymore. The manual does not tell you what the error code means so I'm left to trust random people on the internet saying it means it's a moisture sensor, a gas sensor, or some other possible part.
Also, the microwave doesn't have a quality finish on it. The door handle finish is starting to crackle, which I'm assuming is from the heat of the stove beneath it and cooking items on it. Of course, the microwave is an over-the-stove model so it shouldn't be affected. Not sure I would trust Frigidaire quality again.

Splatter cover does not work in the new appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new microwave fit right into the space where my old one was installed. One thing I did not realize about the new appliance is that the inside top of the appliance is not flat. I have a splatter cover with magnets that attaches to the inside, top of the appliance and it will not work in the new appliance because the inside top is not flat.
