Awesome watch

Haven’t had watch that long but from what I see its going to be a long time before I have to plug it in to charge it.Pretty simple to set up if you can follow instructions and has way more features than I’ll ever use.

Great Features

I love this new watch more than my old Garmin 245 music. I love all the features. My only complaint is that I'm not getting anywhere close to the 40 days of smartwatch mode. Currently 14 days in and I'm at 39%. I'm assuming there are specific settings that need to be turned off to get the 40-day battery life. All in all, though 14 days and counting is a significant jump up from my Garmin 245 music I had.

Sold my Enduro 2 to get this. It's lighter, looks great in the moss green and the solar charging better than the enduro 2.
Flashlight as good also. Like the circle feature on the watch. Also it's a very rugged watch.

100% worth the upgrade from first gen Instinct

I've had a first gen Instinct for years and loved it. The 2X is above and beyond better and was worth every penny. I was worried about the bigger size, but after 5 minutes of wearing and using it, I immediately liked the size better. There are SO many cool features - too many to list. I've been really impressed with the battery life. It's fun tracking the solar charging, and has motivated me to get outside more to try and keep my 'infinite battery' streak going.

Exactly What I Was Hoping For

I got this watch for my birthday and I was already wearing a Vivioactive 4 and loving it. So this watch really had to perform to replace it. Well does anybody want to buy a used Vivioactive 4? This watch is so much more rugged and comfortable that I know I’ve found a watch that I can keep for a lot of years. Thank you Garmin for making this watch.

Nice looking - not so great monitoring sleep

Overall I like the look and feel of this tracker. Large face and buttons makes navigation easier and there are plenty of tracking options. Torch feature is handy and the tracker has a great overall rugged look and feel. However, the Instinct 2 does not accurately monitor sleep as well as my previous fitbit. This is dissapointing since I expected Garmin would have as high or higher data collection capability than fitbit. This is why my rating is lower than expected.
