A more comprehensive manual would be nice. My issue is the keyboard; it has a nice feel, but the lettering needs to have better visibility. Also, what are some of the Functions? No description as to what some keys do. Solidly built machine; makes it heavy though. Also, the finish shows fingerprints too easily. Had to use an antiseptic pad (saturated in alcohol) to clean them. Thankfully it didn't harm the finish. Love the screen. Also, to install a 2nd SSD and add more memory, a set of access panels would be great. Have to remove all 11 screws and then CAREFULLY pry the case apart to install. Too easy to damage components, especially the ribbon cables, and also could easily damage the casing trying to unsnap it.

This is my first ASUS computer (laptop), moving away from years of Dell desktops and laptops. Reason, more machine for the $!!! Only time will tell if it was the right decision, but so far this laptop has done nothing but impress. Lightning fast, quiet fans keep it cool with no issues while editing videos. Note: In reading reviews, a few commented about too many updates for a 2023 computer out of the box. Long story short from an IT guy, they haven't setup many computers!!! LOL

Battery life is terrible. Also keyboard first stroke after 5 sec does not work

We certainly understand your concern regarding the short battery charge life. The battery life on this laptop is approximately 7 hours of light to medium work load. Playing games require lots of power and will drain the battery faster than normal, we recommend connecting the AC adapter while gaming. To improve or prolong the battery charged time, please try to do a battery calibration manually. To start with, please drain it completely then charge it fully without using the system. Once fully charged, please use the system, without the AC adapter connected, and drain it completely again. Please repeat the charging process thereafter. Also, please verify if the unit is running with the most current system update and third-party battery draining applications are not running if not in use.

Holy cow! I bought this to replace an older ASUS gaming laptop, and am blown away by how wonderful it is. I was surprised by how small and light it is, since it is the same screen size as my former laptop. I have been playing Baldur's Gate 3 on it, and it is simply beautiful to look at. One warning - don't put anything heat sensitive next to it, as the fans work magnificently to keep it cool.
