[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13 yr old daughter has been begging and begging for a new laptop that can keep up with her gaming. The Asus G713PV-WS94 is just what she needed! First, this laptop comes boxed brilliantly. When you open the box, the laptop tilts up. That impressed me immediately. My daughter was so excited to see the keyboard and the edge of this laptop light up. It was a complete breeze for her to set up and she was on her games in no time. This computer has definitely kept up where others left her game glitching. She loves the quality of the graphics, speed, how quiet it is and so much more. This is truly a gamer’s paradise! We couldn’t be happier!

Quality, speed, and performance are on the top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop stands out with an abundance of special and bright design elements, very stylish. On the lid is the logo of the ROG line, which is always highlighted. On the front side of the case is an RGB LED backlight that can be synchronized with the keyboard or, on the contrary, configured separately. The design of the case is well thought out, and the noise and heating are at an average level. Large colorful screen, 17.3 inches, the screen pleases with good color reproduction and resolution, the frames are very thin, the screen is huge, comfortable matte keyboard, stereo speakers are a huge plus, especially if you play without headphones. Asus ROG Strix G17 does an excellent job with any task, powerful, productive, flies like a bullet, installing / uninstalling applications, running many applications at the same time, playing games - everything happens quickly and without delay, any games pull without lags. Appearance and quality of materials are on top, I am very pleased with the laptop.

It’s a beast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve alway had a big gaming desktop setup, but I wanted to get something I could use when traveling and out of the house, and I am amazed at how the ROG G17 performs. It took me a little to get used to the keyboard, but that’s just me being used to a large keyboard. Most importantly I really don’t see any drop in game play performance, I am seriously impressed. So it took me half a day to set it up properly for game play (most of that was updating bios and windows). After I did all that, I found the Armory Crate app. it does most of the configuring for you, it’s really easy to swap profiles and it does a surprisingly good job of configuring for performance or battery saving etc.. The screen is great, not 32”, but the 17” you get is clear, crisp, nice colors, deep blacks pretty effective reflection reduction, and a great compromise between high-quality and refresh rate, no complaints there at all. The keyboard is quiet and responsive, it’s a little bit crowded having a full number pad too, but that doesn’t affect gameplay at all, and is actually really nice to have. The trackpad is a nice size, works great for day to day stuff, no complaints but not really much use for gameplay obviously. The battery life is pretty short compared to an ultra book. I think it will last possibly three hours with regular use, with heavy gameplay I’ve been playing plugged in because it is drawing so much power. On that note, you can really tell how much power it’s using by how hard the fans are working to get rid of all of that heat. Don’t get me wrong it’s not noisy, in fact the fans are amazingly quiet. The top of the computer where you rest your hands and where the keyboard is, does not warm-up that much at all, which is again really impressive. I did try though having the laptop on my legs and playing like that, it got uncomfortably warm from all of the hot air being kicked out. Again that’s what you’d expect for running such powerful components, but I did like that the air vents we at the side and rear clearing the air out not trapping it underneath. It has great connectivity with USB 3.2 and USB-C display ports, etc. In all I am really really happy with this computer. I can finally take my gaming out of the home and I do not see any reduction in gameplay. The frame rates is impressively high for everything I play, there’s no lagging, resolution stays high, it is great gaming laptop! I definitely recommend this.

The Asus G713PV-WS49 is honestly one of the best laptops I've ever dealt with. It has a very sleek and stylish design. It runs at top notch speeds constantly and the graphic surpassed all my expectations. The battery life seems steady at 9-10 hours of game play.
