Seems like this mattress should have been great but every morning I wake up with a sore lower back so we’re going to have to return it.

Since we make our mattresses with freshly poured foam, it can take a couple of weeks for the mattress to acclimate to its new home, and you to it. If it feels too firm, adding a topper can be an easy and effective solution to help you sleep your best. We are big fans of Tuft and Needle. This is our second original mattress sizing up from the queen. It is firm enough for both me and my partner. I am a side/back sleeper, and I don't wake up with achy joints. My partner has back issues and finds this mattress to keep him feeling good. We've recommended it to friends!

Finally, we have found the perfect mattress! We tried the Casper (from Costco) and it was rock hard and left our hips and shoulders sore. Next we tried the Nectar and it was way too soft- we’d sink in so deeply that it was difficult to even roll over. The T&N is juuuust right- that perfect balance of being firm enough that you feel supported when on your back, but has enough cushion that when you’re on your side your hips and shoulders feel padded and comfy. I’m primarily a side sleeper and my husband is primarily a back sleeper and we are both very happy with this mattress and finally sleeping soundly through the night. (I’m 5’3” and my husband is 6’3”, both of us on the thinner side.) Wish we hadn’t wasted our time with the other ones and gotten our T&N first!

This is the hardest mattress I've ever slept on. It's like sleeping on a slab in bricks and I prefer "firm" mattresses. This is absurd, I'm a side sleeper and my hips hurt evert morning.

6 years ago we ordered a Tuft & Needle. It’s by far the most amazing mattress we’ve ever slept on. Considering we use it on an adjustable frame, its integrity is incredible! We are 220 and 165 lbs and 6 years in I don’t notice any dips or weak spots. In addition, I have a lot of back problems and have hated every mattress I’ve ever had. This purchase was a last ditch effort. So grateful we found T&N

When I found out I was pregnant, the second thing out of my mouth was "We're getting a Tuft & Needle mattress for the guest room." (The first was me telling my husband the good news). We've had T&N mattresses in our room for 7+ years and I cannot tell you the support and comfort this mattress brings to my daily life.
For those of you that have or are pregnant, you know how elusive a good night's sleep can be. This mattress makes it so much easier. When I travel and have to sleep on other mattresses, I end up dealing with all the fun pelvic dysfunction that comes with carrying a new human, but at a much higher degree. My physical therapist can tell when I've been traveling because of the pain (and other fun side effects) I experience. But a few nights back on our T&N mattress and I feel so much better.
Our guest room will be set up as the "maternity suite" for the first few months, while I recover and bond. Keeping the same foundation for my sleep is as vital to me as the pump and crib I buy. I know from my first pregnancy that this will only help to further my recovery.
If you are pregnant and struggling to get comfortable at night, get a pelvic floor therapist. Then buy this mattress. You will thank yourself later. (Oh, and congrats!) <3
