Fun RC Technic car, with ups and downs
on August 12, 2023

The Audi build is great, with an an instructional manual that is spot on. I usually find myself making some small mistakes during a build and later correcting them, but I did not run into that issue. After the set is built, it is very easy to download and utilize the Control+ app. It is a cute app that offers control via touch-screen input, but it does not give you the option to change the on-screen controls or connect a wireless bluetooth controller. Both of those features would be nice to have in future versions of the Control+ app. Fortunately, one can download a fan-made app known as Brickcontroller 2, which allows you to connect a wireless bluetooth controller, allowing more precise control. The Audi does not move very fast, as expected for a motorized Lego Technic set, but the car is well-built with nice suspension, and can handle some decent obstacles. I was actually surprised at how large the car was after building it, which is great since that means it has greater clearance when traversing terrain. Overall, a fun experience, and the Audi looks great.

Holy Stickers Batman!
on January 28, 2024

Sticker intensive? Yes. That being said, Lego stickers are of such high quality, they’re very forgiving. It’s worth the effort. Be careful in one of the final steps when inserting four grey pegs through the bottom. I didn’t realize they were meant to capture the entire side assemblies, and they are hard to get out once they’re in. The build was fun, the car is very solid, and it’s a bit more zippy than what I’m used to with technic. Overall highly recommend for something to do between bigger sets!

Fun build with a ton of stickers

This was a fun build. The construction wrapped around 3 motors and a hub. Your sticker application skill had better be top notch as there are a ton of stickers to apply but they final product is work it. For anyone that hasn't built a technic power build be aware it doesn't handle like a regular RF toy. It's slow and controls are slow to respond which is fine though better for a construction vehicle type motorization.

Too heavy to drive
on June 18, 2024

After completing the product we wanted to drive it, but it turns out the vehicle is too heavy for the engine. The motor and controls works, but it doesn't have enough torque to move the car. We also tried replacing all batteries with brand new Duracell batteries.
My son got super disappointed... 😢

Hmm, something doesn't sound right! A bit of rebuilding might be in order, while making sure that each part is in the exact position shown in the instructions. It's also super important that the gears have extra room to turn. If that doesn't get it moving, reach out at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can help!

Very cool motorized vehicle
on September 13, 2023

I have a few different categories of Lego I collect and build. Cars are one of them. I bought this Lego not realizing that it was a battery operated remote control Lego, only intending to build it and display it. The build was enjoyable, with very clear instructions and for a change, I didn't make many mistakes in the build (Technic builds intimidate me). I am not a very fast builder and being a hobbyist, it took about 4 sessions to complete the build. It was a bonus to realize when I opened the box that this was a motorized Lego. Overall, a very enjoyable build. For me personally, no playability as I am a collector and will display the vehicle in my office.

Looks great, fun to build, but it doesn't perform.

This set looks cool, but its performance and strength are underwhelming. One of the technic beams in the rear of the vehicle collapsed after the car repeatedly backed into an obstacle, and the piece's counterpart is showing signs of stress. This vehicle has minimal torque, so if you want a car that will be able to drive on rough terrain, this is not it. However, if you only want to drive it inside, I would recommend this set.
