Lego rocks as always!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Endless Fun! This 1045 piece LEGO set is not only fun to assemble, but offers plenty of fun after the fact. With 8 mini figures, 9 if you include the snowman, an owl and a squirrel. The working elevator is one of the coolest features I’ve seen in a LEGO set in a long time. 3 stories of fun including a rock climbing wall, ski slope, skating rink, snack bar, nurses station, and equipment room there are so many possibles for play. Rock wall climbing, skis, snowboard, snow shoes, sledding, biking, hockey and photography. Multiple options for helmets or hair on the mini figs depending on if they’re ripping down the hill, climbing the wall with the safety rope that you can roll up as you climb, or chilling for a cup of coffee. Working doors for each separate room adds another level of realism and play. The elevator easily operates by turning the knob on top of the set. The included stickers for advertisements, floor levels and the sports store add another level of realism. Icicles hanging above the rock wall, a balcony with binoculars and hand/foot pegs on the rock wall are all details that add to the experience. Rated for ages 7 and up, with 3 instruction booklets and 10 separate labeled bags, the set was fairly easy to assemble, with a perfect level of critical thinking required for my 7 year old. The numbered bags and smaller instruction booklets are leaps and bounds better than back when I was a child putting these sets together with one giant instructional book. It definitely helps with the organization of the pieces and avoids a lot of unnecessary confusion. The set not only lets you use your imagination while playing with the finished product, but challenges your mind while building it. LEGO remains one of our favorite toys for the kids. (And for us adults as well.) As always, I highly recommend LEGO. This set is definitely at the top of the fun scale.

Lego fun for the whole family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old daughter loves building and this one, though seems a lot seeing the box, is actually easy for her to build. Instructions are very easy for her to follow and are well in order. We had a winter vacation in Colorado last year and this Ski and climbing center is a perfect reminder of the memories we had there. It also has a lot of characters which makes it more fun and I can see that she’s really enjoying the time while building this set. Highly recommended!
