Cool, but a little frustrating

The theme is fun and unique. Having alternate building options makes this theme interesting with even more playability. However, this particular set has some frustrating aspects. One side of the tree is completed, but parts have to be added to the other side. While placing them and you grip the tree to secure bricks to the unfinished side, I found myself knocking parts out of the finished side. It happened numerous times. Once complete, though, the pieces stay in place and playtime can begin!

Awesome set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves Dreamzzz so this Lego Fantastical Tree House is an obvious winner. There are tons of pieces! 1257 pieces to be exact, so the building of this beautiful creation is taking some time between school and studying. So far only the base is built but it still looks awesome. Can’t wait until it’s all finished. My daughter is loving the process and once it’s all done the sense of accomplishment will be the best part of it! It’s been fairly easy to construct but there are a lot of small detail pieces so you have to be patient. My daughter and I are working on it together. The quality is great, the instructions are clear. So far so good! This tree house is a lot of fun.

Kids Loved It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were really looking forward to putting this tree house together as soon as it arrived. It includes 1,257 pieces and a thick instruction manual. But, it seemed very easy to follow as my kids didn't ask for any help or questions along the way.
They liked being able to choose which mode they wanted to build the set in (party vs defense). And they are already looking at the instructions to see what needs to be done if they want to change it at some point.
It includes some nice additions that they are really enjoying like the bagel launcher, swings and the rooms themselves. They were making up stories and scenarios while they were playing with this and one of the best to keep them entertained!

Nice set with huge amount of details

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the set, there are many nice details, and I like that from the same model, you can build two slightly different versions. A six-year-old built the tree house almost on her own, but it took several evenings. There were a few parts that were a bit difficult, so the help of an older siblings was needed. The dark brown color is somewhat hard to distinguish in the instructions, but with good lighting, following the instructions is ok. The fantastic tree house is a fun and playable set.

This kit was “strange”… like it seemed straight out of the early 70s as far as colors and what they did with it. It was a great build as an adult builder even though it is geared towards children. The colors make it fun too.

If you still haven't gotten this, see, "review title". It's a gorgeous set on it's own with/out lights, start adding and it does get to DreamZzz state. I added just a few minor details, nothing really interesting or note worthy, quite under appeased with myself. I don't have that whole middle section with all "that" and the giant white flower on nothing, it's being supported by one technic tube stuck into two 1X2 modified rounded plates, and no pieces are over strained (but the technic piece, which also holds the flag yeathatmightbetoomuch...). This set is beautiful, plus, add the DreamZzz spaceship with clear translucent brick in the background (with other translucent bricks) and the sets come alive... or, at least that's what my dopamine fueled imagination is telling my idk I'm still waiting to be discharged by the doctors... anyway, absolutely love this set.

The REAL Stuff that Dreamzzz are Made of

Bravo, Lego! With perfectly imperfect characters like Mateo (who uses his creativity to defend against bad guys, baring a weapon that’s just a giant pencil,) Z-Blob (the adorable little pet that changes to protect,) and my fav side character, Mrs. C (a wise burrito-slinging strong elderly woman who shoots Donuts in this set for Party Mode,) Lego has constructed a set from a Dream Realm—I mean how could that NOT Be great. In my opinion, they absolutely nailed the new Lego Animated Dreamzzz Series. Just go watch one episode... Yes, I’m a dork, but I even loved it in my 30s. But even if you haven’t seen an episode of the new Lego DreamZzz animated series yet, this set is exactly what any kiddo loves to play with and is as interactive as it is imaginative.
There are flags around that can change from “Protection Mode” (Quickly!! Defeat Night Hunter and Defend the Dream Realm!) to “Party Mode” complete with confetti cannons, Balloons, and well... Mrs Castillo even shoots out Delicious Donuts.) There are different ways to build it, but my 8 year old loved the first layout and hasn’t changed it yet. I’ve read another review that said they had stability issue with this set, but I couldn’t disagree more. I watched as my kiddo built hers next to me (I finally got to finish my Lego pickup truck) and she didn’t have a single issue like that. In fact, we were both surprised and excited about how cool its unique shape looked while still being so solid. This Dreamzzz treahouse has the very best combination of important characters you need in the storyline and super creative changeable house sets that you can make your own. We even loved how they put extra stickers in it just to style it your own way.
My 8 year old daughter is extremely into Lego stop animation, and this couldn’t have been a better set for that – she combines just a dot of putty with a very easy to make rig to make the most intricate storylines that really come to life. I wish I could post them! We’ve found it to be such a rewarding outlet for creativity, while also having our own kiddo-made movies to cherish. With so many children being exposed to superficial screentime, come join the Lego DreamZzz team as we both heroically defeat the bad guys, protect our DreamZzz and have EPICCALLY Crazy Kiddo Parties to celebrate!!
