How to decide?

I love that you have different options and you can create so many different characters. I love that you have different options and you can create so many different characters. I love the movie off and I have that Lego set so I took the individual standalone picture and created the up house and have that on display with that set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Instructions ???

I just purchased this set, and I was really looking forward to building it. However... The frame does not lay nice and flat as it is somewhat warped. One of my favorite characters is Winnie the Pooh. But there are no instructions to make him, and I cannot access the building app either. I looked everywhere online for instructions, but I did not find any. This set was a total disappointment and a total waste of money. It ended up in the basement and will probably stay there forever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cute, but Missing Instructions for Young Builders

This set says that it is 6+, but I think that is not quite right. The frame build is delicate and complicated. My advanced young Lego builder struggled with some components, but we worked together.
The squares used very neat layering techniques to create the shapes of our favorite characters. The biggest disappointment is that there are only build instructions showing the layers if for 12 of the 72 advertised builds. In the booklet it says instructions are online for the 6 pages of other build, but all that is online is a PDF of the booklet that comes with the set.
If these detailed alternate build instructions are important to you to have, I would research to see if they are out before you buy. I wish I had-- I would have waited on purchasing had I known they were not available. I had very frustrated young builder

The additional instructions for all characters is in the 3D section of the Builder app. They are not in the online PDF instructions (in the Builder app, or downloadable from the LEGO site). I’m all for reducing paper waste in the printed instruction booklets, however, it’s be nice if the online PDF instructions had a page for each of the characters as I’m not a big fan of using the 3D instructions. To reiterate, use the 3D instructions for this set in the Builder app, do not bother with the PDF there as it’s the same as the printed instructions booklet in the box set. Otherwise I find this to be a very fun and cute set for Disney lovers, if a bit overpriced.

Not worth it

I got the set thinking that I could mix and match what tiles I wanted to display and boy was I wrong. They only give you limited amount of parts and you have to select with set your going to build. That takes away from the fun of it. There is nothing saying you can't mix and match.

Does not include instructions for icons

I ordered this set and you only get directions on how to build 9 out of the 72 character designs. The building instructions state that you can find the other 63 instructions online. However, when searching online they have not posted the instructions or they do not exist. So if you would like to use any of the other characters, you are out of luck. It was a waste of money for a set that you can’t even build once it arrives.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
