Long Awaited

As a Lego enthusiast for the better half of a decade and being a major JP fan, the release of sets from the original film is very welcome. This particular set has decent play features and having great figures and printed pieces is always a plus. I could only justify the inflated price being a huge fan of the film, but if you an are unsure of its value, I’d wait for a discount.

5 year old disappointed on value

My dino obsessed 5 year old was very excited to buy this with his chore money. While he enjoyed the raptor, he was disappointed about the # of pieces for how much it cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

"Clever girl"

Jurassic Park was my favorite childhood movie, so I was ecstatic when a whole line of LEGO sets dedicated to the movie was announced.
While this set is definitely designed with small kids in mind, I absolutely love it. Finally being able to create the iconic “clever girl” scene in LEGO form is a blast. My only complaint is that this set feels a bit overpriced for what you get.
LEGO, please consider a line of The Lost World: Jurassic Park sets for its 30th anniversary in 2027! We have never had any sets based on that movie, so I’m sure a line for its anniversary in a few years would be an absolute hit!

A Muldoon figure is probably the number one reason to buy this set. Number 2 is having another JP raptor.

Fun with the son

Just a dad who grew up with Lego and now wants to share with my soon to be 5 year old. So he is 4 and he did build this all by himself through the Lego Builder App. We both love the Lego dinosaurs and have quite a few other jurassic sets. Could Lego just sell the dinofigures? Not knocking this set it is great for 4 year olds. The dinos would be awesome to purchase seperately. Hint hint
