Great and meaningful set

My son Oliver was born 2019 with a rare condition called VACTERL association. Apart of that L equals limb difference. Oli had one hand with 3 fingers and his left arm didn’t have a hand but just an arm that turned into one single finger. Even as a little 1 year old he helped his daddy build Lego sets every night. His dad is a AFOL. He built duplos with his brother, and even though he had three fingers he was very capable in doing anything anyone else could. Children born with limb differences don’t miss what they never had and they learn to just do everything alittle differently. My son died from a rare complication from surgery for his esophagus at 16 months old. At 16 months old he was about to walk, he played ball, helped with legos(loved the Mario set) and did everything any child did. His doctor who is one of the best limb specialists of the world said he would do anything anyone else could. His limbs didn’t limit him, he said he’d drive a car, play sports or anything else. To the ignorant comment about limb differences kids can’t build legos… shame on you… this is why this set needs to exist and I’m so happy Lego made it. My living son who is Oli twin is excited to build this set with a girl like Oli in it. I know my community of limb difference parents are so happy this set is here. These kids build legos just like your kids.

My granddaughter has a limb difference, and she gets so excited when she sees a character who looks like her in a book or movie; I know she'll adore this. She's quite dextrous and enjoys playing with stacking tiles and blocks. She even plays the piano by ear with one hand. (a little grandma brag there) Thanks, LEGO! Can't wait to count down to Christmas with her this year!

The product came with many cool Lego mini and micro figures, all sorts of animals and little detailed pieces.

Awesome calendar lousy layout

This is the second year we have done these for our grandchildren and this is the second year, that the doors don’t match what is behind the door. All the 24 days are correct for the calendar, but they are just behind the wrong doors. Some of them are pretty easy to do, but others, when they don’t come close to matching what is on the door and it makes it frustrating for the child and grandparent to figure out what the legos are trying to make.
This is a great idea, but the Implementation is poor at best.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Incorrect builds

We are on day 3 of my daughter’s advent calendar, and everyday has a build in the square that is NOT the same as the picture. I’m quite certain the entire calendar will be in the wrong place. This has become quite frustrating for my 8 year old, as we are having to guess what her build is on a daily basis.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

That isn’t the experience we want for our LEGO® fans! It may be the inner tray is ‘flipped’. If you open the end of the box, slide out the tray and flip it, that will usually fix the issue. (You can retape the box and not tell.) If that isn't the problem, let us know at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can help further!

Not worth the price.

My daughter is happy to open it everyday as for a child it is just a happy moment. But for example we opened 8th box and still not sure what it is. She is just losing interest in calendar by every morning and it saddens me as i wanted her to have a great experience. It should be more advanced for us to buy it next year.

My daughter is very happy with this advent calendar. She jumps out of bed every morning, excited to see what each day holds. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Super cute

I bought this advent specifically for the bright colors and the adorable pets. I’m an adult builder and I love adding pets to my Christmas and City builds. Pets look extra cute perched on a present under a Christmas tree, in Santa’s sleigh or in a basket on a bicycle. I am eagerly awaiting Advent so I can add these to my builds. I love tiny details!
