I enjoyed the 2021 Advent Calendar, and thought this would be a good addition. I missed last years, so I purchased this one early!

The builds are really good for what you pay, it comes with 5 new versions of figures and a brand new exclusive figure which I love another knock out of the park

Village of Disappointment

I get the theme Hogsmeade but also find this years calendar lacked any real thought. Why not something related to the shrieking shack (the barrier); which would have played well with a scene between Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco. Including Harry’s invisibility cloak would have been a nice surprise. I see no reason for two Christmas trees; other than lack of ideas. I throughly enjoy everything LEGO Harry Potter but this set fell flat. I hope to see an improvement next year; such as, provide a mystery item that is only revealed behind door 24 and does not show up on the how to build list.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as last years

I was so excited for this years advent calendar, and couldn’t wait to open all the doors and put the pieces together. Man, am I disappointed. I guess the theme of this years is Book 3, which is my favorite book, but the figure are incredibly disappointing. Why do I have two trees, and no Remus Lupin or Sirius Black? Why do I have a street light, and a mystery tumbling barrel, instead of a werewolf and a giant black dog, or levitating Snape? There was so much potential in the theme, and I am let down. The best part of this years set is the Frosty the Snowman figure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
