Awesome Space Coaster

I really love this set! It was so much fun to build and I enjoyed putting it together with my 5 year old. It’s so great to see all of the little side builds like the rocket and the comet with the light up brick and I really loved the fact that the astronaut baby has its own little ride. My kids had a fun time seeing it all come together and are having a blast playing with it. I have not done the alternate builds for this set yet, but I know that I will look forward to eventually building those as well. This set is the complete package!

Out of this World

Somehow when I bought this set, I overlooked that the space toddler was included. I only realized it when I saw him in the instructions. I opened the bag, and there he was! I have not been that excited since I was much, much younger. The little one in his little space suit brings me so much joy.
For my build, I went with the main roller coaster. While this set is not exceedingly complex, the space elements are charming and well executed, making the build pretty fun and engaging. It is cool that the roller coaster actually coasts pretty well on the tracks, and I would love to see a Powered Up version in action. If I were a Minifigure, I would definitely want to go for a ride. Every turn cleverly incorporates the space theme, and for a minute I felt like a real astronaut myself. The price feels a little high, but for me, this set stands out, and I'm glad I picked it up.

Challenging But Just What The Doctor Ordered

We are currently inpatient at the hospital because my 11 year old son got a heart transplant on January 11, 2024. We build Legos to pass the time and this one really took our mind off all the medical stuff. We had such a great time bonding together and building this set! We can't wait to be able to build more together once we can afford them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has so many cool little pieces. It has been a great project for my nine year and I. It’s taken many hours to work on, but you build a cool part, then a boring part, then a cool part which I think is a really smart way to keep you going. I would highly recommend this. Then once one son is done we can take it apart and do another build. This could be a months worth of family time.

Fun first big project

My kiddos are turning 9 and have yet to finish a complete lego set themselves but man were they ecstatic about this one. Took a few days to put together as we do one section at a time, which made perfect. Instructions were super easy to understand. The entire set up now is super fun to look at and play with. We all love everything about it and the kiddos already have something up their sleeve to reinvent some new pieces to go with it. Their imagination definitely opened up with this set and I couldn't be happier.
