Great Set

This is fantastic set to build! It is filled with great references to the movie, clever building techniques, and looks great as part of a Halloween display. The purple fireplace flame and light up cauldron are particularly nice elements!

I’m a huge fan of the movie and have been for a long time. When I saw this set, I knew I had to have it! It totally lived up to my expectations as there were so many detailed references to the movie. I’m totally obsessed!

To compact and way to many stickers

Not easy to play with,way to small inside and with the legos inside its to compact makes it look like a mess does not look good if you have the lego characters in there. A lego does not fit in the pillory.The cages poles most do not lock in place. Instead of skeletons in the cages they should of had the characters Jay and Ernie aka Ice. The grave stones you put a sticker on the front door you put a sticker on the front sign is also a sticker and there is still more stickers you put on some other legos. It looks cute if you want to just have it as a knickknack just to look at then its great if you keep the house closed when its open the lake of space I really don’t like about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too dark, crowded , too many loose connections

It looks amazing while building it. Very detailed. But the wheel wouldn't attach securely and so the fire in the chimney wouldn't work. By the time I tried to open it up and stick my hand in there to try to fix it, a few mores pieces got knocked out of place and fell off. The last room to be constructed wouldn't attach to the side of the house and I didn't have anything secure enough to be able to press on on the other side of the house. And the inside was too dark and crowded to b able to put it all in place again, so I gave up and just tossed all the loose pieces inside and put it in the cupboard. I may have to take it ll apart again to reattach everything that fell out of place
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun, fun, fun!!!!! Excellent directions and graphics in instruction manual. Fun and interesting pieces. Interesting construction with many details that are amazing.

I have stage 4 Cancer this helps me take up time at home. Lego is best product ever. My two boys grew getting Lego builds throughout their years.

Overall, this set is very nice. The design and style of the cottage translates well into LEGO bricks. Probably my only real criticism of the set is that the opening wall and fold-up roof for play accessibility isn't that great. It's a little hard to access everything inside and there is a risk of knocking things over like the candle or barrier chains. Otherwise, the set is really well made. I even got the instruction booklet signed by Omri Katz (Max), Vinessa Shaw (Allison), and Jason Marsden (Binx)!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have loved Hocus Pocus since I was a child. So much so, that I even named my black cat Binx (because he looks just like him), so when I came across this set, it was a must have. Not only was it fun to build, but I learned a lot of history behind Hocus Pocus, as the build instructions come with some never before facts about the movie.
I love how this set has so much detail to add to the inside of the house. The battery that works like a light for the fire, adds a nice touch. My favorite, though, has to be the hanging skeletons.
This set is such a a cute and fun build. Definitely and highly recommend to every Hocus Pocus fan out there. (:
