Almost didn’t get the chance to build this as we passed it up the first time seeing it. We decided to go back for the set about a week later and were lucky it was still available.
Very fun. Easy to build and understand as this was my first big build set. Obsessed with Hocus Pocus and love that the set was for the original cast.
Had a bit of trouble with the chimney so decided to modify by removing one of the axels and that stopped it from constantly coming apart. Very fun. Highly recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most elements are inaccessible and not visible

The strange roof construction doesn't allow access to the interior and the only one side opens up - so you can't position the mini figures or really see into the interior at all. Even with small hands, if you reach inside, you will instantly dislodge many of the decorative elements, requiring you to try to do ship-in-bottle reconstruction. The water wheel came loose on ours, and it was a major effort to reattach it.

Hocus Can’t See a Thing

Fun house for the money but you can’t see a darn thing inside the house. Everything is so cram inside and you need a light to see everything. Lego could of added some burning candles or something

Poorly designed

Luckily I just build my Lego’s to collect so it’s not a big deal to me, but still irritating for the price. The chimney will not move up and down without breaking the building in half, I’ve build several legos sets and always go back to make sure I made no mistakes and this was built right several times. Very disappointed.

We were so excited to build this new set, as we are huge fans of the film. But it is missing SO many pieces. I’ve decided to just return it.
