A must buy

Finally built the Hocus Pocus house last night with my family.
It was very creative and a neat build. Very detailed and many hidden features.
This set was a very Modular build. My daughters had the instructions book working on one bag and I had a laptop looking at the online instructions. We could all build at the same time without really interfere with the other. Once they finished the steps before me I could quickly put my structure/ details to the main set.
I like that it has a place for all the characters to stand to to display in front of the gate.
I wish you could buy more characters from the movie (individually or in other sets.)
I also wish LEGO could make lighting for sets like some other side companies do.

This was an awesome build.
My only complaint is it somewhat dark and hard to play with some of the lower levels. But overall I’m very pleased.
Love it.

Missing piece

I would like to give this a good review but on bag 3 there was a piece missing. Totally ruined this for me and I was so excited to get this set. Unfortunately this has happened with other sets. Now I have to wait who knows how long to get a replacement. Disappointed.

Design setup is poor

This is a cool concept, but did not deliver. The spaces are so small that if and when things break off trying to put them back on inside the house is nearly impossible because there is not enough space to reach in there and fix items. The wheel would be cool if it didn’t break off every time you tried to use it and trying to put that back on after the build is impossible. I do think the steps in which certain items were built should have been different and there should be more open space to actually see all the details inside. I wouldn’t recommend for the price.

One of the flimsiest Lego sets I have recently put together and no access to any of the interior "areas of play". When putting this up on my shelf I barely grazed a candelabra, which fell behind the fireplace mech. No amount of shaking or turning the whole set upside would remove this fallen piece from it's stuck location. I had to completely disassemble the set to remove the piece. Then putting it back together a bottle piece fell of the book shelf in the corner. Once again full disassemble just to gain access to the bookshelf in question.
Lastly the fireplace effect doesn't work at all. Spent a good hour checking the piece placement and build and it still does not work. Wheel gets caught and the shaft for the flames becomes disconnected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A fun build. Not to difficult. My wife loved it. Took me about 5-6 hrs to build. As usual great details in the book.

To compact and way to many stickers

Not easy to play with,way to small inside and with the legos inside its to compact makes it look like a mess does not look good if you have the lego characters in there. A lego does not fit in the pillory.The cages poles most do not lock in place. Instead of skeletons in the cages they should of had the characters Jay and Ernie aka Ice. The grave stones you put a sticker on the front door you put a sticker on the front sign is also a sticker and there is still more stickers you put on some other legos. It looks cute if you want to just have it as a knickknack just to look at then its great if you keep the house closed when its open the lake of space I really don’t like about it.
