Good idea but, I really wish they added Billy Butcherson to the set. Feels as though a key element or character is missing without him. Very disappointed he's not in the set.

It must be a curse

I wanted so badly to have a 5 star experience with this build. I'm a 30 something year old that grew up on Hocus Pocus, but it was hard enough to give it 1 star.
I was missing integral pieces from 11/15 bags. I was unable to move on until I scoured all of my extra bricks from other builds, the replacements take ages....it's just been a nightmare.
The build is highly fragile, it's nearly impossible to move anything around on the interior. The nostalgic aspect was really sucked out by the frustration of missing parts...for the price I just can't vibe with this set. Would never recommend this set to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s just a bunch of Hocus Pocus

This Hocus Pocus set will, “Put a spell on you.” I had so much fun building this set. The details are so intricate and really makes you feel as if you are a part of the actual movie. 10/10 would recommend to any fan of the movie or legos in general.

Wonder Details get Lost

I love this set. It was so much fun to build. It looks wonderful in my Halloween town. My only complaint is that it has so many wonderful details in the little side shed that become impossible to see once it is attached to the house.

This is my first big build and I really enjoyed it. Overall, it comes together pretty easily and I didn't fall in to too many instances of needing to undo my work to correct a mistake. There are so many amazing references to the movie throughout the build. There are some pieces that don't completely connected and look a little off. Specifically, the spokes on the cage-- only two of the spokes connect on each cage and the remaining have to be lined up. Due to the way the house is built you aren't really going to notice this but it bothered me while building. I also wish that you could see inside the house more easily. You completely lose visual access to the fireplace and chair section of the house.

I have loved Hocus Pocus since I was s kid. This set is perfect for any fan. The attention to detail is what really got me. The little items and knick knacks just make it that much cooler. Highly recommend!!!!

Great build, could have been better.

The build all in all was straight forward. Some new building techniques for advancing builders. Couple play features. Lots of details crammed into tight spaces.
Honestly our biggest complaint is, unlike the Idea presented to and approved by LEGO and Disney after achieving success though the vote process. In our opinion 1 zombie, 2 teenage bullies, 2 ghosts, and Book having the ability to have its eye open or closed would have been an A+
Hopefully a couple characters make it into a mini figure series if they continue with Disney theme every couple years
All in all great display set
