My wife was sooo excited for this set! I built it for her because she LOVES Halloween and Hocus Pocus. I really enjoyed the building of the set, as always. But my wife kept saying over and over "Where's Billy?? I can't believe they forgot BILLY!!!" So, yeah guys.... WHERE'S BILLY?!?! She made her own, after stealing a wig from my set, The Blacksmith Shop.and putting it on a skeleton. It works I guess LOL.

I grew up with Hocus Pocus and was obsessed with the movie, so when this Lego set was released I knew I HAD to add it to my collection. I had such a great time building this set. I love the attention to detail.

I was excited when this set was announced on lego ideas to become a set. After the long, and exciting wait the set is finally here. You will appreciate the build, and the fine details that went into making this set. This set is worth the full price tag of MSRP.

The set I’ve wanted for years!

As a major Halloween person and huge fan of Hocus Pocus, this has been one of my most anticipated LEGO sets! My order delivered late yesterday afternoon and I had it out and built in four hours as I watched Hocus Pocus 1,2, and Halloweentown! There are so many great little details throughout and I thought the bed with the Sanderson Sisters quilt was an especially cute touch. This set would have been absolutely perfect with the addition of Billy Butcherson, so I’m really hoping we can see a set with him in the near future! Overall this was an extremely fun and detailed build, and I am excited to put it out amongst my other Hocus Pocus and Halloween decorations! :)

Fun and Creative

I am 63 and bought this for myself. I love the Hocus Pocus movies and this will be a great way to see the cottage all year long.
I never bought a kit before and was excited to see the parts in numbered bags. The instructions blew me away. Easier to understand than ikea's.
I have a little difficulty seeing which colors the bricks are in the booklet. Being mainly brown, grey, dark grey, tan and black, on paper they kind of look similar to each other.
I am building one bag each day. Should be done in 15 days.
Excellent decoration for halloween! I can eve add Christmas decoration in December. Ha ha ha

Magical build for this Millennial

I was really looking forward to this set and it did NOT disappoint. There's so much detail in the house (and in the graveyard which has a very cool shoutout to fan designer Amber!) and the build was so satisfying I can't recommend it enough. My only critique is that, as someone who *always* builds one bag at a time, and in order, bag 11 where you build the two (2) ceiling-suspended caged skeletons was missing one head I later found in bag 12. I nearly tore my place apart thinking I'd dropped it before spying it in the wrong bag. Other than that, the only other difficulty I had was in placing the chandelier.
Still: neither of those would deter me from absolutely recommending this for fans of both Lego, Hocus Pocus, and the Sanderson Sisters! 10/10 totally recommend!

Way too small

This set was on my list from the moment I saw it. However upon building I realized everything is so small and crammed together that it loses the magic of the build. You put the pieces in for it to be covered by roofs and steps and it’s never to be seen again. Points for the mini figs and the light feature, that’s about it. Just a bit bigger of a model and it would have been so much better. Who ever thought to just prop a broom in a small tight corner for it to repeatedly fall over was not thinking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cute set but missing pieces

It was a fairly fun build but the wheel kept detaching to the point I had to go back in ( not easily ) and glue it in place. I am disappointed like most that they didn't include certain characters like was shown in the fan made build. I feel like this could've been made better to really make fans happy. There's a HUGE fan base for this and I feel like they missed the mark. If you're going to do it, do it right. We are paying the price for it. Main disappointment was missing a Lego brick to part of the house. I finished the build but with a hole in the house, it kinda goes with the aesthetic I guess lol but it still upset me. Come on Lego, I love you..do right by me..k?
