Devil’s in the Details!

Sistahs! Fly as fast as you can (on whatever you can find) for this set. Any fan of the original movie will be blown away and have so much fun building it. The amount of little details that went into this set is incredible. Right down to the Cherry and lemon candies on the register kiosk, to Sarah’s lucky rat tail (right where she left it). It’s also a beautiful, fully realized building when it’s not open to the interior. Amber (the designer) really knocked it out of the park. This is a set I would happily build again and again if I had the opportunity. Come, Sistahs! We Build!

A must have set!

This a special set more multiple reason. It has been twenty four years since my last LEGO set purchase,(which my parents bought). Now as an adult I got to enjoy a classic film set and reignite my inner child. Thank you LEGO!

So detailed but not necessarily playable

This is the most detailed Lego set I have ever seen! The attention to detail is remarkable, and everything about this was so carefully thought out. I saw Hocus Pocus in the theater when I was a kid, and I have loved the film ever since. My children are also big fans of the movie and were so excited to see this purchase enter our home. I've been excited about this model for years, so I was thrilled to finally purchase it a couple of months ago.
As detailed as this model is, it is my opinion that this seems to be more of a decoration and not so much a child's play toy. The water mill seems to easily come apart and fall off after rotating it about ten times, which then requires removing much of the inside props to fix it. There are so many detailed props on the inside that my children were constantly breaking pieces as they played with it.
One other item of note is that the dark pieces in the instructions were hard for me to see -- I had to turn on every light around me to get as much visual as possible.
Overall, this is a really neat product. I wish they had created a "Billy" zombie to include among the characters.

Great Set!

The detail of the set is absolutely amazing! The only thing I would change about the set is having more mini figures like were in the original design. It would have been nice to have Billy as a mini figure and even Jay and Ernie (Ice).

Overall, this set is very nice. The design and style of the cottage translates well into LEGO bricks. Probably my only real criticism of the set is that the opening wall and fold-up roof for play accessibility isn't that great. It's a little hard to access everything inside and there is a risk of knocking things over like the candle or barrier chains. Otherwise, the set is really well made. I even got the instruction booklet signed by Omri Katz (Max), Vinessa Shaw (Allison), and Jason Marsden (Binx)!

I have stage 4 Cancer this helps me take up time at home. Lego is best product ever. My two boys grew getting Lego builds throughout their years.

My wife was sooo excited for this set! I built it for her because she LOVES Halloween and Hocus Pocus. I really enjoyed the building of the set, as always. But my wife kept saying over and over "Where's Billy?? I can't believe they forgot BILLY!!!" So, yeah guys.... WHERE'S BILLY?!?! She made her own, after stealing a wig from my set, The Blacksmith Shop.and putting it on a skeleton. It works I guess LOL.
