Amazing Set - Disappointing Experience

I love this set and Lego in general as a company. I had an amazing time with all the small details. It really made me feel nostalgic. And I would recommend it hands down to an Hocus Pocus fan.
Me complaint was the production… I was missing a bag and several pieces over several other bags. It also has pieces that were the wrong color. It is frustrating to pause a build due to having to wait to get replacement parts in just to find more missing later and having to pause again.
That being said Lego customer support has been so incredible during the process. This was something I have never experienced to this magnitude at least.

Overall this set is great and looks amazing as a display piece. Very happy it's a fully enclosed build. Personally I would have preferred it to be in the traditional modular style, I think that would have made it easier to see all the interior details easier. The 2 doors on the back work fine, but some of the details towards the front of the build are slightly hidden now that it's complete, so having it modular style and being able to see it from the top down would solve that issue, but I believe it's probably an easy thing to do yourself. There is one area of wall on the front of the house that isn't very secure. The instructions called for a 1x6 tile on the base, then on top of that is a 1x8 long wall build, so that wall is only being held on with 2 studs at the end. Zero idea why it's done this way when the entire rest of the walls are all full stud connections, very puzzling, but again it's an easy thing to change on your own, all you'd need is a basic black 1x6 plate. Sure we all have 30 or so of those laying around haha. Last thing, the front gate minifig build, looks great, but it is a bit flimsy. Definitely do not pick it up with just one hand, believe me, I was picking up pieces for a few minutes. Other than those minor things it's a wonderful build and a great set with great part usage and its a fun build, wasn't boring or repetitive at all. It is an 18+ set but my 8 year old was able to help with a lot of it. Younger kids would realistically probably be able to build the vast majority of this on their own.

This is the best set I have seen. Very detailed. It is fun to explore all of the nook and crannies. Love the light under the cauldron.

Obsessed!

I am so obsessed with the Hocus Pocus building set! I have literally been waiting for years & years for this set & was so excited when it finally happened. I have been building the Harry Potter sets for years and Hocus Pocus is my other Fandom I am obsessed with. I would totally recommend this to an intermediate or advanced builder. It took me a out 12 hours total, working on it for 3-4 hours @ at time over 3-4 days. Now I have it on display. I would LOVE it if they could add a mini-fig for Billy Butcherson, Garry Marsall's Devil character, the little angel girl that says "Bless You" to them outside Master's house, Emily & Zacahry Binx, Ice & Jay for extra characters. I think that would be great.
