So much movement and whimsy

This was such a fun build. It was the perfect level of challenge for an adult and took a long time to build, so even though it was pricey it felt like a good value. Even if you don’t love Hocus Pocus this is just a really fun set to build. There is so much detail and so many moving parts my kid loves to play with it as well. This is my favorite set in the past year and it was so cool I even grabbed one as a gift for a friend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too much fun

Some good and some bad. I’ve built hundreds of Lego kits over the years. This one I got for my wife but was one of the most fun builds I’ve ever done. The details are amazing on this kit. The downside is that there were a few missing pieces. Luckily I have tons of spare legos so I made it work.

Awesome build, but limited for play

I bought this for my six year old thinking we would need to build it together. He built almost the entire thing by himself, so I think the 18+ has more to do with the number of pieces/steps than difficulty level. The only thing he struggled with was putting on the roof. This was super fun to build, but once it is put together, it is so cramped that there is really little ability to play or even see all of the great details that you built along the way. Still worth buying, but it would have been better if the back was completely open.

Fun fun fun

I started enjoying the Lego building lots at the age of 57. It was relaxing and so much fun. Instructions are step by step and I have built all the Harry Potter series except Gringots but I am going to.
Hocus Pocus was a favorite movie of mine and it is so fun watching it take shape.
The sets will eventually go to my grandson.

It’s all in the details!!

This build is one of my favorites! I love how the roof opens and closes! I love all of the details from the movie…from the salt to the vacuum cleaner. From the costumes to the facial expressions! From the cash register to the hanging cages! It’s so cool! And I like that Lego paid homage to the creator of the build on one of the tombstones!! A VERY cool build!!
