Almost didn’t get the chance to build this as we passed it up the first time seeing it. We decided to go back for the set about a week later and were lucky it was still available.
Very fun. Easy to build and understand as this was my first big build set. Obsessed with Hocus Pocus and love that the set was for the original cast.
Had a bit of trouble with the chimney so decided to modify by removing one of the axels and that stopped it from constantly coming apart. Very fun. Highly recommend.

Fun and Creative

I am 63 and bought this for myself. I love the Hocus Pocus movies and this will be a great way to see the cottage all year long.
I never bought a kit before and was excited to see the parts in numbered bags. The instructions blew me away. Easier to understand than ikea's.
I have a little difficulty seeing which colors the bricks are in the booklet. Being mainly brown, grey, dark grey, tan and black, on paper they kind of look similar to each other.
I am building one bag each day. Should be done in 15 days.
Excellent decoration for halloween! I can eve add Christmas decoration in December. Ha ha ha

Such a fun build. Really enjoyed building this. My. Only complaint which isnt anything to do with the actual build is the book is hard to understand what greys and tans to use in certain parts as the colors all look the same in the book.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved this movie as a kid. When I seen this I had to get it. I have no regrets at all. I love how it has all the small details. The characters are down to a tee. Had fun putting this together with my niece and nephew. I would recommend downloading the Lego Builder App. It helps out a lot. You can turn the legos around to see how they fit. It also was a huge help when it came to legos that were almost the same color. The book was kinda hard to tell which brown Lego you should use.

It’s all in the details!!

This build is one of my favorites! I love how the roof opens and closes! I love all of the details from the movie…from the salt to the vacuum cleaner. From the costumes to the facial expressions! From the cash register to the hanging cages! It’s so cool! And I like that Lego paid homage to the creator of the build on one of the tombstones!! A VERY cool build!!

Fun fun fun

I started enjoying the Lego building lots at the age of 57. It was relaxing and so much fun. Instructions are step by step and I have built all the Harry Potter series except Gringots but I am going to.
Hocus Pocus was a favorite movie of mine and it is so fun watching it take shape.
The sets will eventually go to my grandson.
