Great Lego set for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lego set was very enjoyable for my son. The attention to detail in the Lego sets is remarkable. This set has mini-figures that makes this lego more interesting to build and play after. My son loves lego and he can spent hours just taking all pieces in one place and see result after.
The building experience is a journey in itself. Assembling the sets not only provides a sense of accomplishment but also offers a meditative and relaxing feeling.The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow, making it enjoyable for any level. My son likes collecting and completing various sets. This one pretty easy to assemble and didn’t take much time.

Good, but could have been better.

As far as the concept of the set goes it sounds pretty good, but the helmet holes are not ideal and really must be dealt with. Captain Vaughn's helmet is very inaccurate to the source material and looks nothing like it should.

Was hoping for better

I purchased a few of them to build my 332nd army. However, I really am not a fan of the new designs. The helmet holes really take away from the helmet design. The Clone helmets are slightly shorter with the new brow design giving the clones an angrier look. It isn't at all consistent with last years model and I am really dissapointed with that. The build is alright, I mean I buy it for the minifigures.
Lego, I would love to see a redesign for the clone helmets. I have been collecting clones for a long time and the newest designs are my least favorite compared to years past.

it is good we all wanted it and it came on my moms birthday and it is a clone who was in one set the droid AAT that I think we need and we lego star wars fans want a droid battle pack

Great Idea But Poor Execution

This set had so much potential to be one of the best battle packs ever. There are a few things that really bring the set down in my opinion. First off is the helmet holes. They look really bad! The 332nd trooper from a few years ago looked great and I don't think there was any changes needed. Second is the Captain Vaughn minifigure. The helmet is not unique at all and the chest printing isn't anything crazy. If you've purchased one of these sets or have the AT-TE from last year you probably have enough visor pieces so make all of the helmets in this set look like Captain Vaughns. He doesn't really stand out from the other troopers in this set. This could have been such a killer battle pack. If you can look past those two things then I would recommend this set to you.

It said “Clone Captain Vaughn with a special helmet” and that’s a big lie right there. The only thing different about him is the little rank insignia on the torso. Also the new clone helmets just look so bad and the helmet holes just look completely horrible.
