Really Pretty and Worth the Money!

What I like in legos is the way some sets are really displayable and I think this set is perfect! I don't really buy them to play but I think someone could definitely get a lot of play out of them with all the pieces and characters included.
As someone who appreciates small details and architecture I really love the aesthetics of this set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Gorgeous

My work has a butterfly conservatory so I was interested but once I bought and built it, the level of detail in this set blew me away. It easily tricks you into thinking it's a display piece rather than a play set. It is filled with gorgeous architecture and plants - all based on real species (as you finish each plant, the booklet tells you a little bit about it). I love the small details that comes from the research the team did, such as the blue morpho butterfly snacking on an orange and some watermelon.
I have it set up at work and my coworkers enjoy finding new details to love when they come by. It's beautiful at every angle and the open corner design gives you a great view of everything inside. I think the open play set design is only bothersome if you're adding it to a tabletop LEGO city (other comments mention how you can buy two sets to make it a closed building).
If you love plants, bugs, or architecture: Overall, you'll be happy with the amount of detail and quality for the LEGO price.

I have been thinking about creating my own garden or greenhouse for my display. I did tweak it a bit to make it more personal, but this was a very fun build.

I'm halfway through building the Botanical Garden, and it's already one of my all-time favorite sets! I love the mini plants and the structure of the building itself. This is a winner!

Just a gorgeous set

So much to love in this set!
The build book has the real names of the flowers and butterflies. The fish under the wonderfully designed pond. The dome. We absolutely live it.

I Love This Set!

The Botanical Garden is my favorite LEGO set of all time! Fun to build and the plants are so creative. I'm rearranging my entire city to make a place for it!
General wishes: 1) That we could have the option to choose traditional mini-figures with the Friends sets instead of the "dolls" 2) That the traditional min-figs could be as diverse as the Friends figures...just a thought...LOVE THIS SET!!
