So much fun until...

The build is a really fun one with a lot of little hidden bits so far. The details are crazy. But...
I'd love to be able to finish this build. In bag 2, I was missing a piece, but luckily it was a really common piece and I had a spare from another set. Everything was going great until bag 8... missing another piece. And this one is not only integral to the structure, but it's one I definitely don't have a spare of. I've put in a request for a replacement brick, but they are apparently really backed up, because it's been almost 3 months since they said it was ready to ship.
I'm just really hoping the 9 bags I have left to go don't have anything missing, or I'll have to wait even longer.
I've done about a dozen builds in 2025 so far, from poly-bags to over 1300 piece builds, and this is the first with missing pieces. It's the biggest and most expensive one, so I am really bummed about it.

I got this gift from my sister from my birthday last year. It took awhile for me to build it. The detail and design of this castle is very impressive. I was in Japan back in 2024 and had plans to see the Himeji but got too busy. On my Next trip I will definitely include it.
