I can build this all day

This set is straight up amazing. I’ve been waiting for it since Mjolnir came out a while back, and it simply does not disappoint. Yes, there is repetition to the build, but how can there not be with a (excepting the star) symmetrical build. The instructions are set up in a way to make the repetition be broken up, and once I figured out my organizational system for the big steps (bags 10-16 and 17-22 are all dealt with in 2 sets of instructions, respectively) things really moved smoothly. The end result is amazing, as seen in my attached picture.

Perfect display piece

This set is perfect for marvel fans to put on display. I’f you’ve got a section dedicated to marvel sets, this one could definitely compete for centerpiece. One complaint, the build is super repetitive, which to be honest given what it is, should be expected. Nevertheless, although this build is basically building the same sections 36x, it was still enjoyable, and it looks really nice. Surprisingly sturdy as well.

The shield looks good once it’s built. But the shield isn’t as sturdy as the thors hammer set. Was kind of disappointed. Wish you could hold it like captain America especially with the price point.

Cap’s shield: great display, repetitive build.

The final product makes a great display piece but the build itself was very repetitive. Be prepared to do the same thing 18 or 36 times in a row. Each segment of the front of the shield has over 40 pieces and there are 36 segments. It’s not too bad if you set things up assembly line style but you will need a fairly large area for this build. Looks good next to Thor’s Hammer kit.

I got what I wanted but the delivery dropped the ball. Never have I had a complaint about Lego getting me stuff on time but this item was delivered on the 26th when I ordered it on the 19th not sure why the big delay I had just gotten another item I ordered from them in a three day window.

This was the 1st time I bought a Lego set for myself and it looked very intimidating when all the supplies were out of the box! However, once I started, it was challenging but in a very fun way! I now have it on top of my bookshelf on display!
